Default Receiving Extra Authentication Error Message

Hi,

I am trying to add my bank, First Midwest Bank(www.firstmidwest.com), but I continue to now get the message below.

First Midwest Bank Banking Online
www.firstmidwest.com
Extra Authentication Required

First Midwest Bank Banking Online requires a few extra steps before you can add your account to Mint.

There are times when when First Midwest Bank asks two more security questions when I log in. Is there anything that you can do add those questions so that I may get my bank connected?

Thanks

Post Hi bes24,

A fix should be going live for this later tonight. I would recommend trying again tomorrow.

Hey Administrator,

Thanks for your quick response!

There are two possible banks sites that First Midwest bank has. 1.) is the First Midwest Bank Banking Online & 2.) First Midwest Bank Bill Pay Banking Online

The security questions were added to the First Midwest Bank Bill Pay Banking Online site only.

Unfortunately, I do not use the bill pay feature with First Midwest since they do not show all of my transactions and is completely separate from their online banking site.

Will it be possible for you to add the security questions to the First Midwest Bank Banking Online?

Thanks for your help!!

Post Hi bes24,

I see an account number/pin option when I try to *add* the bank you're mentioning. Are you able to input the information requested there?

Yes, I am able to put both of those in. Once I do that it establishes a secure connection, then verifies user name and password, then times out and I get the authentication error. Sometimes when logging into First Midwest Bank Online you are allowed access into their system yet then you have to answer 2 of the possible 6 security questions before actually being able to see your accounts.

I did just try it again, and it told me updated 3 minutes ago, yet did not have my accounts shown, so I clicked update now and I get the authentication error again.

Default Still no drop down boxes to answer security Questions for First Midwest Bank

Hello,

The site looks great!! However with the error message I am getting back, I'm not sure how to setup the, Use those answers to add your account to Mint,. If the First Midwest site does not recognize where the logging in is coming from then they make you answer 2 of a possible 5 questions. Once you have answered those questions once then they do not make you answer security questions anymore. I have those questions and answers but don't know where to add Mint.

Mint still does not have a box for me to answer those security questions.

Please Help as I would love to start really being able to utilize Mint!

Post Hi bes24,

Incorrect form issues, unfortunately, can take time to resolve. Have you already let us know the form is incorrect? I roll these issues up as quickly as I can.
