Default Investment Income - Not Income?

Why don't dividends and capital gains show as income? For me they make a large contribution to my spendable cash a month.

Thanks for your insight.

I've raised this for a long time on the forums that all of my income and expenses for investment accounts are not included in any of the reporting. A good portion of my income is derived from investment activity. I also have a significant trading commissions that i would like to track. I can see the transactions in the investment tab of the transactions section but they do not appear in the reporting section.

I also would like to see the home mortgages bring in transactions so that I can see the escrow activity in the reporting also.
