I believe the location for Schwab Bank credit card data has been changed. I tried to update my account this morning, and it couldn't verify the existence of the account. I created a duplicate account, at which point Mint was able to connect and authenticate, but the credit card account did not show up at that location.

As I investigate using our own tools and base on our database, your Charles Schwab Bank Credit Card was successfully added into your MINT account. Kindly use the 'update' button to refresh your account. Please revert if problem persist. Thank you!

sounds about right. I'd like to know, because I'm having the same kind of problem with my Schwab 401k, which worked fine on mint up until a week ago. nothing changed on my end.

I'm also running into issues with my Schwab credit card account no longer working - my Schwab checking appears to be working fine though. I know they seem to have been improving the integration of their credit card on the Schwab site (it's actually HSBC I believe) so I'm guessing this issue is related to that. Previously, I had a seperate login on the Schwab site for the credit card account but it is now accessible via my normal Schwab login. Maybe I should delete and re-add my Schwab credit card account?

Arc in another thread suggested trying the steps below, and they worked for me:
(SOLVED - 9/29/09) - Please try this and respond! I'm with all of you on the frustration of mint pointing to schwabbank.com for the Invest First card. Mine stopped updating over a week ago. I found a solution tonight that doesn't involve the FIA workaround. 1. Go to https://www.schwabbankcreditcard.com...s/LoginDisplay 2. Click "Forget Your Login Name or Password?" below the login 3. Enter your CC# and click "CONTINUE" 4. Answer all security verification questions, click "CONTINUE" 5. Select your name (not sure if this comes up if you don't have multiple card holders) 6. Update your login name & password to desired 7. Go back to mint.com and edit your Schwab Bank Credit Card profile to match the username and login you just updated. 8. Let mint update while you go make a cup of tea to relax. 9. Come back to find your account synced once again. 10. Do a happy dance. Hope this helps! |
