In number 4 you are able to extract transaction out to a .csv by going to the transaction tab and on the bottom right corner there is an option to export transactions. the option is in small print. I'm not sure why Mint does not make it more prominent and in bold. |

1: Blackberry App or mobile version of the site.
2: The ability to have accounts update themselves without logging in. I could see this not happening though, because Mint's profitability may be linked to people logging in and checking out offers. On the other hand, the site is not that useful for monitoring things unless you log in regularly. 3: Pending transactions. It would be nice if Mint grabbed pending transactions, particularly if they were listed as pending. This would allow for faster warnings about large transactions, nearly used budgets, etc. (I don't get these from Bank of America, though it may be available for other banks) 4: My company's employee stock purchase plan site. Doesn't currently work. Mint offers: https://esd.melloninvestor.com/ We use: https://espp.melloninvestor.com/ The login information for the two sites is not the same. 5: (Related to 4) Some way of knowing if the bank you tried to access, but weren't able to, will become available. if you try to access (Random New Bank)'s website, but Mint doesn't have that yet, it would be nice to get status updates if it becomes available or is expected to. |

Targeted Savings
I would like to have a good way of tracking targeted savings. Here's one example, maybe you can think of an even better implementation. Let's say every month I want to dedicate around $100 toward saving for some future purchase category, like a vacation. I would like to set up a "budget" to remind me to make a transfer to savings (and to deduct this $100 from my monthly cash flow/overall budget so I don't budget to spend it somewhere else), and I would like this budget to roll over the amount that I did transfer/save. After several months I could see "oh I've put away $n toward vacation, now I can do some vacation spending from that category/budget/savings. In order to accomplish this it seems the following features/changes would be needed: 1) Ability to set up a transfer based budget/category that DOES deduct from my monthly overall budget amount (for example as reflected in the "estimated savings" figure), but DOES NOT show up as spending in spending reports. 2) Have a budget type with two dollar figures associated. One is the "reminder" amount of how much you want to send to savings for this purpose, and the second represents how much you have saved or have available to spend. 3) In order to facilitate the above, the budget/category would need to roll over associated transfers to savings, and roll over unspent portions of the "saved / available to spend" amount. It should not roll over any portion of the “reminder” amount. |

Damon,
Thank you for asking the question. 1. I'd like to be able to budget income in weekly, bi-weekly, quarterly, and other installments. 2. I'd like to be able to add my credit card. My bank issues my credit card, and I end up adding all of my checking and savings accounts (again) if I try to add the card. Sean |
