Zero balances in general
I want to ask people here about the zero balance issues in general.
I see many people fighting zero balances at times in thread, and they typically share an organization while doing so. Eventually it looks like they get fixed, but my question is more general.
Is this zero balance thing some kind of default in a case of Mint not understanding what the financial institution is telling it? It seems to be a common issue. Why are the issues so prevalent?
I am currently fighting a similar issue with a local bank, it reports 1.00 instead of 0.00 or the real balance. It shows a correct available balance which is higher than that.
I figure I should not be concerned about it, and to just wait it out. Talking to their support was not much help, they pretty much told me "Oh we don't know, it's probably temporary."
Meh.
