I have an online savings account with HSBC that earns me about 5%. However this interest rate doesnt seemed to be picked up by mint and there doesnt seem to be any way to add it. I would love to comparison shop to see if I can get a better rate somewhere but Mint is only showing me earning 0% interest at HSBC and the obviously telling me I can make/save money elswhere.
Any suggestions?

I believe there's currently some issues where the interest rate isn't properly being picked up, even though it should be.
Although maybe as a feature suggestion... to manually input the rate for situations like this, or where it might just be unavailable.

There's a bug for interest rate right now. I am personally in favor of allowing folks to manually adjust this information & will mention it in my feedback report.

1. Login to your Mint account.
2. Go to the Ways to Save page.
3. Click on link to see the offer(s).
4. You will see a hyperlink for "interest rate". Click on that.
5. A box will open that will let you manually put in the correct rate & type of award the card has.

I didn't see an interest hyperlink anywhere. Am I missing something?

You have to click on the "get details and compare" link on the first page & then you will see it on the next page.

Thanks for the feature. However, there's still no way to enter a cashback rate on a credit card (I can say there's cashback, but it treats it as 0% and recommends a card that actually has less cash back).
Also, it's still telling me to switch from a Countrywide Savingslink account to a Countrywide Savingslink account.

Still working on optimizing the page:) Expect many changes over the next few months...

still no fix? My HSBC Direct Online Savings account has a 2.25% APY. When I view my account on mint.com is says 0%. I don't care that I can manual enter it on "ways to save" page....the whole idea of mint.com is that all of my info will be linked to the accounts I added...so that "ways to save" will naturally find true ways to save. If I have to manually enter my current apy, then what's the point?
The fact that this has been an issue for 18 months and still hasn't been fixed baffles me. The apy% on my other savings accounts (i.e Chase) are correct...why can't mint.com get the HSBC rate correct?
