I keep getting the following error when trying to add this account:
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y105/basskozz/Mint/barclayus-couldnotconnect.jpg
The barclay website is working just fine for me, no maintenance issues in sight.
It's been saying this for the past 3 days, so 24hrs... not so much. :(
p.s. You should also notice the link is broken, notice it leads to:
https://wwws.mint.com/www.barclaycardus.com
intstead of
https://www.barclayus.com
Just lettin you know ;),
p.s. This relates to Juniper cards too: Juniper was purchased by Barclays (http://www.investorrelations.barclays.co.uk/BRC1/jsp/brccontrol?task=popup1group&value=855&target=_blank&site=inv)

Let's bump this thread up: I can login to the BarclayCardUS site just fine (doesn't appear to be down), but have had unremitting failure to add the Mint widget for this card. I've made five or six attempts over the last four days. Admins, got any insight into this problem?
copy from account widget:

Could not connect
Mint cannot connect to your account right now:
* Barclaycard (US) may be down for maintenance
* The connection may be too slow
Problems like these are usually resolved in 24 hours.

Not sure if this helps, but I'm getting the error message almost immediately now.
Could Mint have shut down this bank for the short term?

Bumping.
I wish Mint would change these default error messages, because they don't seem to reflect reality. I've had a Mint account for about a week now, and I've never been able to get my Barclay-issued card working. If there's a problem specifically with Barclay, I'll quit wasting my time trying to add it for a little while.

takes the same amount of time for me still, and link is still invalid :(
I don't know if this helps the Mint Gods or not but it gets past the "Establishing a secure connection" but fails on "Checking user name & password" http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y105/basskozz/Mint/barclayus-establish.jpg
Also for some odd reason the password comes before the username field on initial setup, which goes against the conventional wisdom of username then password . http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y105/basskozz/Mint/barclayus-err.jpg
I've tried reversing my login and putting my username in the password field and my password in the username field, but that doesn't work either :-(

I've been trying for the past few days to add a Barclay card. As always I have no problem logging into their site. I did notice today that it almost seems to fail immediately. Admins can we get some feedback on this one!

I will mention this to our engineering folks.
Note: I realize that folks are frustrated. I will, however, come back and post if I know a specific issue has been resolved. Our engineering and product folks are working very hard to correct some of these issues.

Just want to bump this and state that I have multiple accounts not working, the most important of which is my Barclay CC.
I've read a lot of posts on this forum and the admin is basically just running around saying "we're working on it", but i don't see ANY resolved issues...
What are you guys working on??

Thanks for the help Admin, keep up the great work. :)
And tell those "engineering folks" the same ;)

It's free -- FOR NOW. ;) I have to imagine there is some monetary reason for them doing it for free now (free beta testers) and that later they will get all the money back from development somehow. It will be a pay service and/or ad support eventually, or bought out by a bigger company.

My assumption is that they (the Mint Gods) are getting kick backs from the companies who are posted in the "Your ways to save" portion of the site... But we all know that assuming just makes an ass out of u and me (ass-u-me) :p

I'll just chime in and say I've been getting the same error message as other have mentioned above, and will wait patiently for a resolution.
Thanks engineers!

It's immediate for me now too,
I no longer get this far:http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y105/basskozz/Mint/barclayus-establish.jpg... now it goes directly to: http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y105/basskozz/Mint/barclayus-couldnotconnect.jpg after I enter my logon credentials.
The MINT Gods are probably at work ;)

I tried adding my Barclay CC tonight, and I thought it was going to go thru when I saw it get this far: http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y105/basskozz/Mint/barclay-possible_success.jpg... Yippe, could this finally be working?
but after a few minutes I got this screen: http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y105/basskozz/Mint/barclay-stillnotfixed.jpg
What a bummer the previous screen shot showed that my username & password were successful, but then I get this screen? This makes no sense, I know my username & password were entered correctly, I double checked.
Couple of things for the MINT Gods to note on this screen:
The "Go to Barclaycard (US) password recovery" link is correct, however the "www.barclaycardus.com" link is still invalid.
Also I tried using the Juniper account add, and I noticed they've changed the login credentials and added multiple security questions: http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y105/basskozz/Mint/juniper-update.jpg
How many of these questions do I need to answer?
It looks like were making some progress, I can't wait till this is fully operational. Thanks,
-BassKozz

Now Barclay's login has changed... http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y105/basskozz/Mint/10_3_07-NewBarclayLogin.jpg
Any info on how this is supposed to work?
(i.e. How many of these Q/A fields need to be filled out?)

Damon,
I know your busy, and probably swamped with e-mails of people asking for help with 1 issue after another, but a little feedback would be much appreciated here...
I feel like I am posting screenshots for no reason. :(
Thanks again for all your help,

Hey BassKozz,
I had to fill out ALL five questions to get the login to work. Of course, I couldn't remember off the top of my head which questions I'd answered and what my precise answers were... but I was able to find ALL of that information by logging directly into the Barclay Card site and viewing my user profile. I hope you can get this login to work for you!

I know this issue has been mentioned among all the Barclay debacle (which has hopefully been resolved for everyone -- THANK YOU MINT!), but allow me to bump this thread and mention it fresh:
In the Barclaycard (US) account widget-thingy, the link that reads www.barclaycardus.com is incorrect. The text of the link is fine, but it directs you to https://wwws.mint.com/www.barclaycardus.com, which is not a valid URL.

I am not able to download transactions to this account on a regular basis. It prompts me that my log-in failed and I complete it again with answers to all security questions. It then downloads all the transactions, but the next time I log-in and the service automatically downloads transactions to my accounts this is the only one that fails.
Please advise. Thanks

I get a message saying "Problem signing in!" and it never downloads transactions. I've had this problem ever since I first added the card; it even says "Last Updated: 4 months ago".
My account is active and accessible; I can log into barclaycardus.com from my browser. Help?

I have not been able to get my Barclay Card account to add to mint.
It keeps telling me my bank needs additional information, however when i press edit I just get it telling me to enter my username and password again. I do this and press ok, and it just returns me to the same screen, asking for more info and with the button that says fix it. Ugh.
I confirmed my username/pw are correct on Barclay Card's site.

Great product though! Everything else works great! Thx.

So, do you remember answering the security questions when you set up the account in Mint?

I cannot seem to login to BarclayCardUS. The website has an annoying two-page login system. I have 2 user names (plus an image file similar to Bof CA. The site requirtes it login each time. However I get an unanswerable prompt: "Your bank has security questions" where do I answer this question? I've tried every combination of each username and the correct password, but, unlike BofA CA. I cannot get info from Barclaycard.

I found the solution, for me at least.
Juniper and Barclay merged at some point. I changed my account from Barclaycard to Juniper and was able to get my account into into Mint.
Not sure if that helps others, but it worked for me.
