Hello! My Diners Club/Mastercard is my main credit card. Four days ago mint.com stopped showing updates and said it was a temporary issue (ie there is a yellow warning box that says that on the account). But it still isn't getting better.

I wanted to see if:
a) Anyone else was having the same problem
b) See if Mint was aware/working on the problem (I contacted their customer service 36 hours ago, but haven't heard - so hoping this might be a better/more efficient way to get info)

I could delete the account and then redo it, but I'm not sure that this will fix the situation , and I'm concerned that I might lose all of my transaction data.

Anyone any clues as to what might be happening? And more to the point, how I might resolve this so I can get visibility back into my spending.
Thanks
Ziipppp

I'm having the same issues, also occuring within the last two weeks.

Did you ever hear back from Mint?

Despite their "contact us for a guaranteed reply" I did not. However the system eventually DID resolve itself after about seven to ten days. The good news is that Mint caught up on all the transactions during the dark period - so while it was annoying (compounded by the service lie) it worked out ok.

During the down time I also subscribed to Yodlee - my understanding is that Mints "hooks" into the data are built on Yodlees. Yodlee also didn't work. Finally I went to the Diners site - and it seemed that Diners were going through the "pay us" phase of their cycle - and when I looked at the website some of the links seemed different. My working theory is that during the "pay" part of thei cycle - different linkages break the hooks. I haven't gone through another pay cycle yet (due any day now) so I'm interested to see if the linkage breaks again.

My advice is don't check your Diners through Mint for at least a week - doing so will just annoy you. But hopefully in 10 days it should all work. Is that great? No - but it's serviceable. Good luck, let me know how you fare.

Cheers
