There are several cool receipt scanning and storing solutions out there (ex: neat receipts, shoeboxed, evernote) as well as the ability to just scan in a receipt or statement or bill and save as a pdf or jpg or png file.
It would be great to be able to attach those files to the mint expense items -- or the link to one of those services. Then I wouldn't have to keep the paper versions for tax records. I could just find the entry in Mint, scan in the receipt, link the digital image to the expense entry, give it the right tags,and be all ready for the end of quarter tax estimating discussion.
we save doctors receipts, business related receipts, childcare related receipts...etc.
Other financial programs like Outright, FreshBooks and Quickbooks already have that linkage:
