ING Direct showing CD accounts as checking accounts

ING Direct is displaying my Certificate of Deposit accounts as checking accounts. Is there anyway to remove these sub accounts?

I just Hide them. But sub-accounts in ING that are closed still show as a balance and incorrectly pad my Cash supply. I can "hide" those too but cash vs. debt is still incorrect.

Hello,

I would suggest that you mark them "Hidden" or "Closed".

Marking your accounts "Hidden" will exclude the account and associated transactions from Mint calculations while marking your accounts "Closed" will turn your account balance to zero but will keep your transaction history in Mint calculations.

See the steps below on how to exclude an account:
1. Login to your Mint account.
2. Click the “Your Accounts” link at the upper right corner of the page.
3. Locate the account/s you want to change.
4. Click on the specific account then “Edit Details”.
5. Use the dropdown box on the right to mark the account active, hidden or closed.
