Charter One Login Problems

Not sure if this really a bug, but I am trying to log in to my Charter One account through mint and its saying there was a connection issue and that my bank's website was down. I went over to Charter One and it is working perfectly.
There is an extra security element that might be hanging up the sign in process where I have to verify an image and phrase that I preselected while signing up my account with Charter One. Has anybody had similar problems or know of any way to fix it?

Yeah same thing for me. They did recently change their security so I'm guessing that is the problem as well. There is an initial password, a captcha box and a secret word to enter and since the login on Mint only has one box for a password I can see this failing.

I'm having the same problem with Boone County National Bank. They have a security word that they use now. Help?

I don't know how mint.com goes logs in to the different accounts but the link that they have in the Charter One Bank square is not a good one (http://www.charterone.com/home/default.asp). http://www.charterone.com/home/ will work for me but it takes me to that pesky useless site where I need to use a link to get to a different page to start part one of putting my information in. But I don't know if mint needs an acctual website (like most people) or if they just need to get some parts of the address right.

I am having the same issue. Charter One has an extra 'image verification' step that may be causing a problem..

I have been using the CharterOne login successfully in Mint from January-March and it had the image verfication page in place the entire time. The account connection via Mint died over a month ago and there was no correlation to any change on the CharterOne site or login process (it's the same as before).

Mint - Can you take a look at this or at least confirm it is happening with all users that have CharterOne accounts?

I am having the same problem and without being able to access my Charter One Bank, Mint is useless.

I'm having problems with Mint connecting to Charter One today (9.4.09) - it tells me to go to the CharterOne site to confirm my account. I've done so several times but it doesn't seem to help. I've contacted Mint but am waiting for a response.

Charter One is the same as Citizens Bank.
Mint is having some big problems with Citizens Bank, read other threads about Citizens Bank in this forums for more info.

We are aware of the current connection issues with Charter One, www.charteroneonline.com. Mint and Mint's data provider are actively working together to resolve the issue with our ability to connect to www.charteroneonline.com. We realize this is frustrating as the connection problems for most users have been continuing for several weeks now. The management and development teams for Charter One, Mint and Mint's data provider are all aware of the problem and it is actively being worked on with high priority by all.

Again, we apologize for the frustration and hope to have this solved soon. I will update here on this post when we have an update to share. Thanks for your continued patience.

I was curious if there was any progress on updating the security questions for citimortgage. I sent a customer service request 2 months ago (including the new questions) and I have not heard anything. Love mint and would like to update my mortgage info....thanks...Shane
