Incomplete merchant info for USAA Web BillPay transactions

Hi,

I have a USAA checking account, and I also use USAA's Web BillPay service.

On the USAA site, paid bills show up in my checking account in the following format:

ACH W/D-<Payee>

Unfortunately, all these transactions show up in Mint with the merchant set to "Ach W D". In other words, the meaningful information I need to categorize the payees (after the "ACH W/D-") appears to be getting stripped off.

I'd love to use Mint, but I won't really be able to unless I can get that payee information. Hopefully, it's something that you can fix on the Mint side. I know that Wesabe is able to get the full transaction description.

Does anyone from Mint care to respond?

Is this a Yodlee limitation or something in Mint itself?

Again, I like Mint's functionality better, but may need to switch back to Wesabe or even Quicken, because I cannot effectively categorize my transactions.

Please give us some kind of an update, even a "Sorry, this is low-priority so we're not going to work on it for the foreseeable future."

I've actually pointed this issue out in my feedback reports already. Something we're working on...

Note: As I mentioned in another thread, customer service is under a heavy load right now & I am largely the only functioning CSR/community manager right now. As soon as I can free some time up by training some folks, I will be far more responsive & active out here.

I am having the same problem. I was absolutely thrilled to find out about mint, but then when I loaded my bank/debit card transactions, the payee appeared as "W D" and "Dep" for all my transactions. Mint is just not usable unless it can get the payee information automatically.

Yes, please fix the ACH and W/D vendor recognition, and that will save me a huge amount of time on Mint -- thanks for the great product.

Just another person asking that the USAA transaction info be fully entered. It has my highest expense being ACH WD, basically all my online banking grouped into one.

I also have the problem with USAA listing bill payments as ACH-WD. However, it's not that hard to go back and see what the bill was and change it on Mint. However, I've noticed that my rent payments are completely missing for September and October. I'm wondering if there could be other payments that were not uploaded from USAA as well.
