View Full Version : Problem with citicards and M&T Bank
I can't get my Citibank Credit Card added. I have a feeling the URL is wrong, when I login to the web site I use this url:
https://www.citicards.com/cards/wv/home.do
I also can't get M&T Bank to work. I'm not sure why, sometimes it tries to connect and times out, other times just nothing. That url is:
https://onlinebanking.mandtbank.com/SignOn.aspx
I think the trouble with M&T is it asks a secret question, but only sometimes. I think they ask it only when connecting from a new IP address. Everytime time I check my account after attempting to sync from mint I get one of several questions, but I don't get a question if I login from the same computer after that.

I'm having issues adding M&T Bank as well. I think it does have to do with the secret question. The thing is that there are 3 different/random questions that it asks.
Hopefully this gets fixed soon.

I sent in comments on this last night (not sure if you can search for it).
Here's some information:

They have a username and passcode, and then three security questions. A friend of mine signed up for M&T about a week ago and his account is working. He said it asked for the answers to the 3 security questions. It never asked me for the questions. Perhaps something did change.

If you are also having an issue with M&T Bank, please send the information to feedback@mint.com
I received an email stating that they will work on fixing banks based on complaints received - so if no one complains, it remains low on the list.

I just received this reply from Mint regarding M&T Bank:
"Some Mint customers have recently been receiving an error message that Mint “Can Not Connect” to their bank right now. The fix for this item should occur over the weekend of September 30, 2007. Please do try to add your accounts again at this time.
Many thanks for your patience. We also apologize for the temporary inconvenience during our beta phase."

Now when I try to connect to M&T it's telling me that I have the wrong username and password. This may be progress!

Same issue here. Still not working - just a different error. Before it used to tell me that it could not add account, now it says that I have the wrong userid and password (which I don't, because I've done it a few times and have logged in directly without problem).
