I have a car loan through eloan which is not on your guys list. I'd LOVE a feature to be able to manually add a debt account for this type of loan. And what would be even cooler would be the ability to enter the monthly pay and interest rate and have the total due be updated each month! That may be stretching, but I think it'd be a SWEET feature!

Being an individual with several different college loans though different companies. It can get a bit confusing, I would love to use Mint to manage all these loans, even if I have to add and update the information manually. An amortization schedule/calculator would also be a nice feature.

I have student loans and car loans. Of course they are not available in the system and my only available source of debt in the system is a credit card account which does not have any balance.. so I'm shown as being in great standing through mint with my debt.. but I know otherwise. Would be great to either add Sallie Mae loan access and Toyota Financial access or some other way to manually add a debt amount. Thanks for this great site. I just joined today.. this is the only feature so far that I am missing. Thanks!

Throwing in another request for the ability to enter loans and other debt, even if manually. You support Wachovia, so perhaps you can also support Wachovia Educaid, their student loan branch (wachovia.com/educaid).
Most student loans are managed by AES (American Education Services) regardless of the lender, especially federally subsidized loans schools sign students up for automatically. I imagine it might be a challenge getting access to this info since AES locks down their site pretty tight so probably cares a *lot* about security... but if you can work a deal, that'd bring in tons of loan information. Their site is aessuccess.org.

I think that a way to manually add accounts (debit, or credit) would not only satisfy users, but could be used as a workaround/temporary fix while the Mint devs were busily adding more features and account support capabilities.
Plus it'd help me keep track of the money I owe my mom, for example.
Maybe even a wallet acct feature so you can track where you spent the $40 you withdrew from that ATM.
Thanks again (http://forums.mint.com/showthread.php?p=3168#post3168) for a great site

I have a loan from a family member that I pay each month, and I am not able to add the balance manually. So my overall financial picture on Mint will never be exact. Has there been any update on whether this feature will be added?

The need I have for this is for a 2nd mortgage I have directly with the seller of the home I bought. The ability to see the amortization table, how much interest and principal remain, and a calculator to try out various pre-payment scenarios would be great! My first mortgage could also benefit from this since my bank is not listed on your site yet.

Working on this now. Should be available in the next couple of weeks.

I have 2 loans, 1 bank account and 2 investment accounts which are not supported. I put in all my other accounts, but this service is not very meaningful if I'm not able to complete my financial information - other wise what's the point of this service?
I understand that all financial institutions will not be supported, therefore without manual entry capability I consider Mint a failure.

Creating accounts manually will be supported, but they will never be nearly as useful as having accounts that update automatically. We are adding support for many financial institutions each month.
If you have not already, please submit the bank names that you need Mint to support.
Best place to submit your request is:

I agree. It would be nice to have a way to manually enter things such as the VALUE of my car (not the loan) and the VALUE of my home (not the loan) -- so I can account for that in my net worth. YODLEE offers this, but YODLEE isn't MINT.
I'm excited to hear that a manual account option is coming! For example, I have a car loan with a small credit union using coupon books. Requesting they be added to Mint would probably be confusing for them, because I'm sure they don't even know what a computer is. :)
Thanks again for the continual improvements!

Great to hear this is coming. I asked for this via the contact form; the boilerplate responses should include a pointer to this forum!

I think I posted this as another thread, but I'll reiterate here. Defintely would be useful to be able to add manual accounts. This way you have a much more accurate view of your financial statement and allow you to keep track of values of your home, what you owe to institutions (or people) that Mint does not have access to.

Another use for manual accounts is that I owe my sister some money, so I consider this a loan. Unless Mint figures out how to download data from my sister, I think manual accounts could solve this problem too.

I would REALLY like to see this option activated. I've been a Mint user for months, and love the interface. However:
a) my student loan (from the UK) isn't supported
b) my car loan is from a credit union that isn't supported
c) my main checking account is from a credit union that IS supported, but the security questions Mint shows for it are all wrong
d) my other checking account is supported, but every couple of months the bank rotates the security questions, and it stops functioning on Mint
I filled out the contact form for issues b)-c). I received some automated replies. They weren't at all helpful. In short, I'm still using Mint, but all it currently shows me is my 401Ks and my credit cards.
I understand that Mint is working to fix bugs and add financial institutions. I can wait for mine. But in the meantime, I'd like to be able to add my accounts and update them manually.
Please let us know the status of this feature.

Does Mint have a date when they will be releasing this enhancement since this seems to be in progress?

Thanks, Mint, for adding the feature that everyone in this thread has asked for! I was able to add my student loan from the UK, and now have a more accurate picture of my debts and net worth.
