"We highly recommend only attempting to add or update ING accounts *before* 9am EDT or *after* 6pm EDT. ING doesn't play well during those hours for third parties.

Also, we are working on a more streamlined approach for ING that we hope to have implemented soon. Right now, their dynamic multi-factor authentication is a real challenge and one of the reasons ING and Mint.com are like ""oil and water"" a user so eloquently states in an above post. Believe me, I want this resolved as much as anyone. Thanks for your patience.

So, the two take-aways...

1) Make sure your challenge questions and answers match up exactly like they do in ING
2) Don't try to add or update between 9am EDT and 6pm EDT. Not the best user experience and certainly not Minty but we're working on it."

Ouch...tried adding the account multiple times (outside of M-F, 9-6 EDT window), but no luck so far....as ING has lots of my data, the whole Mint picture has become 'blurry'..to say the least. :((
