Two of my accounts, both at Navy Federal Credit Union, now appear twice in the list of accounts on the Overview page and in the Weekly Financial Summary e-mails. Sometimes the balances are not even the same for the same account. This is affecting the Net Worth calculation.
I have another savings account at NFCU that is not duplicated, and none of my other accounts is repeated. This started about two weeks ago and I made no changes to Mint at that time.
Anyone else having this problem? I don't want to delete the duplicate accounts until this is debugged.
Thanks,
Jim

I have this issue with both my Citi credit card (one duplicate account) and StudentLoan.com account (two duplicate accounts). Mint just keeps telling me to show it as "hidden", but I would rather they just fix the bug.
Do not delete and re-add because you will lose all of your history on the correct account.

I was having this problem, too, after I changed my Navy FCU account from regular to "flagship". I made the unfortunate decision to delete one of the duplicate accounts and lost three years worth of checking account data... ARRGGG!!!:eek::eek:
So far, I can find no way to "undelete" the mistake.
PLEASE include a way to reverse an account deletion, or at least some preview of the consequences upon the account!!!
Thanks,
Matt

Hi Minters,
Some customers may have issues with duplicate accounts appearing on their overview and accounts' page. They key reasons this happens:
1. Customer mistakenly added the account twice.
2. The customer recently changed something at their bank's site, such as changing account numbers or the nickname on the account. If you would like to exclude the duplicate -without entirely deleting the account, you can use the directions below to mark the account hidden or closed.
There are ways to exclude certain accounts in Mint. You can either set your account status "Hidden" or "Closed". If you want to hide your account and transactions, set to "Hidden". Your Cashflow graph will be adjusted accordingly. If you choose "Closed" the transactions will remain in Mint but the balance will be zero.
See the steps below on how to exclude an account:
1. Login to your Mint account.
2. Click the “Your Accounts” link at the upper right corner of the page.
3. Locate the account/s you want to change.
4. Click on the specific account then “Edit Details”.
5. Use the dropdown box on the right to mark the account active, hidden or closed.

We have several Vanguard accounts, but only one of them is duplicated. It is not a joint account. I didn't add it twice nor did I change any of the account settings or information. I am certain of this and it was not duplicated when it was entered but sometime more recently.
I can hide the duplicate but I don't know how to tell which one is the right one.
