I reported a bug via email on Sept 10 that I was having trouble with the following banks/cards: Countrywide Visa, Sears MasterCard, BECU Visa. The response I received said to try again in a couple of days. I've been checking and I assume things are just taking longer than expected, but I thought I'd chime in in case the issue was dropped. ...Especially since things seem to have gotten worse...

With the Countrywide Visa, the "add account" interface used to have drop boxes with several security questions and text boxes to fill in with the answers. Now, the interface just has the text boxes with "Answer 1," "Answer 2," etc. with no correlation to a question. I don't know which answers to place in which answer box, but no matter what I try it doesn't seem to work.

With the BECU Visa, the "add account" interface displays the text "Answer 4" with no Answer 1, 2, or 3 and no text box to type any answer into.

With the Sears Mastercard, the security questions are gone, and I'm just not having any luck.

And... My BECU bank account, which used to work, now reports a "wrong username or password". The username and password haven't changed and when I re-enter them it's still giving me the same error. I believe that the problem may actually be with the security questions. Again, the interface used to have about five drop boxes for security questions and text boxes for their related answers. Now there's just one "Answer 1" text box. I'm not sure which of the several security answers on file I should use. I got things to connect up and respond correctly once by just using one of the security answers, but after I clicked "Update now" I got the same "wrong username or password" error.

Not dropped, unfortunately.

As I tried to state in other posts, fixing these issues right now is very complex & very time consuming. Our Engineer is getting killed right now trying to fix all of these issue & the unfortunate response is that we have to fix the "larger" banks first. I've also stated that I will come back and post when I know things have gotten better for the system and/or specific banks. I can only update when I have information coming my way saying it is ok.

I totally apologize for all of the issues adding accounts over the past few weeks. As we launched at TechCrunch 40 today, our system is also experiencing some issues with being able to handle the load. To give you an idea, I've personally received nearly 250 emails today alone (I am the only person answering emails) & I've generally been receiving anywhere from 100-150 per day prior to the launch.

I understand you need to get to the bigger banks first but I just want to show support for getting BECU fixed asap.

Can you send me an email to damon@mint.com? I can try to check on BECU. Make sure to send me the url, etc.

I agree, I know 5 other users who need BECU accounts added. My personal referees to this service, and I'm sure some of theirs I haven't mentioned.

Can we get a status update on this? I'd love to use this service but my checking account and my main credit card is with becu.

I think I guessed the right answer to the question and it got me logged in though mint but it wasn't seeing any of my accounts.

I'd be refering people as well but they all use becu!

Hi Folks,

BECU is currently giving us some issues. I do know that a fix has gone in tonight for some issues, so I can request that you folks try again on 10-3-07.

I just tried to *add* BECU (Boeing Employee Credit Union) and was presented with the dropdown boxes using Firefox (would recommend using Mozilla Firefox because Internet Explorer is currently truncating the questions).

Note: You will see an option for BECU Bank and Credit Card. I would recommend trying to add these separately.

Note: The above might help get it added.
