Hi there,

I just love your product. I've finally replaced Microsoft Money across the board with Mint.com. There's really only one thing that I'm missing. When making rules, it would be great to be able to add an extra condition.

For example, when I go to Chevron, and the bill is larger than 30.00 dollars, I know that I got "Gas & Fuel".

When it's under 10 dollars, rest assured, I bought a six pack of Budweiser.

It'd just be nice to separate that, since I live next to a well stocked gas station, I buy many sundries there that actually aren't "Gas & Fuel".

I agree with this. It would also be useful (as I said in the "top 5" thread) to be able to use conditions like this to determine who the payee was for some transactions. Like if the payee shows as "Other decrease", but the amount is an exact figure (say, $2150.47)then I'd know it was my mortgage payment.

Also should be able to search on the whole string including numbers, to look for addresss. Many of my transactions simply show as "Debit pin purchase DATE CARD(last 4)# STREET# StreetName City".

I'd like to make the rules look at the full address including the street # so that I can determine if it was Safeway or Target for instance. Auto-lookups on google maps would be great, but if I could at least manually set the rules, that'd help.

I have a number of payments from my checking account that are given a Description of Direct and a category of Furnishings. The "real" category can be discovered by parsing the text. For example, this should be Investment > 529 Plan:

Appears on your E*Trade (Checking) statement as Direct Debit - 1208 GAST 1208 INVEST... on Apr 2

I'd like to add a rule that, if the text says, " GAST ", categorize it as Investment > 529 Plan.

This would be helpful. I get paid via a paper check twice a month, not direct deposit. So every time I deposit a check I have to change it from "income" to "paycheck". It would be nice if I could say all deposits at my bank over "x" dollar amount gets labeled as paycheck. Its very rare I get checks from other sources that are equal to my paycheck.

Agree 100% with the need for this feature.

I have a variety of transactions labeled "Transfer from Joint Checking". Some of these are manually enacted (e.g. a one-time transfer to cover an expense in another account), while others are automatic (e.g. monthly contribution to separate account for quarterly estimated taxes).

The automatic ones are always a certain dollar amount. I see no way to condition a tag based on dollar amount - e.g. tag as Tax Payment only if dollar amount = $123.45.

This is prohibiting me from really digging into the budgeting features of Mint - love to see this guys!

The ability to create conditional edit rules based on text or value of transaction is the one feature that keeps me using my bank's on-line tools and not completely switching to Mint.
