I read about Mint on TechCrunch and want to sign up for an account but it seems I have to be a beta user before I am allowed to sign up.

According to TechCrunch...

"Aaron Patzer (sp?) founder of Mint.com - talking to us about our money. Today, going to show us “revolutionary” way for us to organize our finances and save money on the way. Site will be available in about an hour, completely free and anonymous."

So I'm waiting..... :)

You should be able to create an account in about thirty minutes from now(11:27 am PDT here now, so about noon).

Well, so much for that. The service can't obtain a secure connection to the Arizona Federal Credit Union website. Oh well, I guess I might check back in a few weeks. Not real thrilled with my very first experience with the service. Maybe you should have kept it in Beta a little while longer?

P.S. Why is the forum so hard to find on your website? You would think you would display a way to reach it in a more visible area than just one small link on one page buried on your website.

Sorry about that...I am rolling up the add bank account issues for today. I will come back and post if I know that system issues are better, or if I know of a specific issue with a specific bank being addressed.

Forums: We're definitely going to make them more prominent on the site.

I find it hard to be upset with adding account issues considering the number of people that are jumping on board over the last day or so. When you go to a new restaurant you expect a few hiccups the first night.

I'm excited to start using the service once I can actually add accounts, but I also know and understand what its like dealing with issues like this....

Received an email from Mint asking me to try again and that their systems have been updated.

So I try..... same exact error. Can't obtain a secure connection. Like I said before, the issue is not with the speed and never has been, it's with the service not being able to connect to my banks website. I can log in through my banks website with the exact same details that I supplied to Mint.

At this time I would like to ask that my account and all current information associated with it be removed from the "Mint" database / website / system. I am no longer interested in the service.

Thank you.

I've been trying for 3 or 4 days to get my accounts added to this service and Mint isn't accepting anything....as much as I'd like it to be, Mint is -at this point- not useable.

I, too, am unable to connect to Arizona Federal. I have the same issues as described by hiramgf in http://forums.mint.com/showthread.php?t=553 (post # 93). I have access to both Mac and Windows machines and am more than willing to assist in whatever ways I can in resolving the issue.
