Transaction Naming restrictions

is there a post that details the limitations (if any, and i think there may be a few) of the acceptable names for transactions...
for example, it seems like I can't actually use parentheses in the name ... for example, Albertsons (Mesa)... if i try to save it, it renames it to simply Albertsons Mesa (w/out the parentheses)...

also, it seems that it doesn't accept the ampresand (&) character... when saving, it removes that character from the name...

I don't think that the special characters' issue should be happening. As such, we do have a bug filed for resolving it.
