Release Notes (effective 9/14 /07 )

Thanks everyone for all the feedback thus far. We are listening and working furiously to incorporate the ideas as quickly as possible. Collectively you have helped us to identify bugs, financial institutions that need to be supported and product suggestions that need to be implemented. In order to keep you all informed we will post Release Notes, like this, for our major releases and you can check in on this page to get updates.

We have not been able to get all of your feedback into the product but rest assured we are listening diligently and working long hours to make the product the best it can be.

Here is a brief description of what was addressed in this release:

1. Numerous fixes around adding accounts (check, save, credit card) – Many changes were put in place to make this less error prone and we will continue to make improvements. For some banks and credit cards we have identified ‘work arounds’ and added them to the ‘add account’ form.

Note: We do realize that folks are still having issues adding some banks. We will post back in the forums when we know a specific bank has been addressed.

2. Duplicate Transactions – the incidents of duplicate transaction should diminish greatly. Technically there are several reasons why this may happen and while we have not addressed each case, we are making progress.

3. Default categorization and renaming rule creation – We will no longer default to automatically creating a rule when a transaction is automatically re-categorized or renamed.

4. Alerts should be better managed and no longer reappear once dismissed.

5. Various fixes with automated categorization and renaming of transactions. This will be an ongoing effort.

6. Many, many UI changes which were unsightly, annoying or inaccurate.

7. Several fixes were put in place to make adding account easier.

8. New FAQ’s – we have put together a new list of FAQ’s on the ‘Contact Us’ form. Hopefully these will be helpful for you.

In addition to the fixes made in this release we have a full pipeline of great product ideas in development, including many that have been suggested by you, our users. Stay tuned for more exciting news in the near future!
