Hi,

I use my credit card for almost everything and each month I pay it off in full. Under transactions this is a negative number but it is a positve number in trends. By this I mean it looks like I am spending twice the amount of money I spend each month. Should I just delete my credit card payment so that I can see how much I am spending? or is there something I am missing.
I also notice this in returns. If I have returned something to JC Penny's that I paid for with a credit card, I get a positive deposit into the shopping catagory however on treads it is seen as a negative (as a purchase rather than a return). Do I just delete these returns?

Thanks

Marie

Make sure you mark your credit card payments as a transfer, not a cash payment. There is a category specifically for credit card payments that marks them as a transfer. That way, your purchases are marked as spending but your credit card payments are not counted for spending trends. You might have to mark it manually in the transaction view.
