Tag/ Categorize based on amount

I would like to see a way to categorize a transaction based on the amount - for example, a recurring/ auto payment plan - use the amount to categorize/tag the transaction rather than the description

It would also be nice to setup rules with and based on:

1. Tags
2. Amount
3. Full description of transaction
4. Accounts

Creating "rules" is based on how your bank calls the transaction. (ex. Bank of America (Accelerated Rewards American Express Card) calls this ABERCROMBIE & FITCH #111)

Creating "rules" based on amount or tag is not yet supported by Mint. We appreciate you for letting us know what can be of use to you as our valued customer. We'll forward this to product for consideration. We cannot guarantee that this could be done but we love to listen to your feedback and suggestions.

Vhine, Why is it when we go into the edit details we can see a more descriptive description then what is on the transaction for the user? Mint seems to change and/or truncate the original description.

I second the original post. You already have half of the ability to do this implemented when we rename and then categorize and tag a transaction by checking the "do this all the time" or whatever link.
