I cannot change the category for anything placed into this category. Maybe has something to do with this way is category is spelled.

Do you have the steps you are taking?

Note: I also wanted to advise that browsers can play into this. Make sure you're working with a browser that's supported on Mint (Internet Explorer 6/7, Mozilla 2.0, Safari 2.0, etc.)

Here is the error it throws for this when I click the transaction then click Categorize -- it does not happen with the other categories:

If you use the same browser and same application, I would expect the same error category for your team.

I have a couple transactions that were automatically chosen to be in the "Garden & outdoors" category, and I can't re-categorize either of them.

Browsers tested:
Safari 2.0.4 on OS X
Firefox 2.0.0.6 on Linux and OS X

When I select the transactions and click the "Categorize" button, the categorization window doesn't pop up. For all other categories, there is no problem.

I also noticed that "Garden & outdoors" isn't even an available cartegory, so I can't test if transactions moved to that category are stuck.

I'm having the exact same problem as dthomasset. Here are my browser stats (but this doesn't sound like a browser issue):

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.7) Gecko/20070914 Firefox/2.0.0.7

We have a bug filed for this issue. I will post an update when it is resolved.

In the meantime, pick another transaction of the type you're wanting to change the stuck one to and click both their checkboxes. It'll let you click the category button then and set the stuck one to what you want.
