From a UI standpoint, it's quite inconvenient to have to scroll either to the top or bottom to rename, categorize, or add a note to an entry when the entry is near the middle of the entry list. I would suggest adding redundant controls to the right-side display that aligns to the top of the entry to simplify this interaction.

We'll be making changes to the UI in the near future. Be sure to check the "Mint Announcements" area for updates.

Or... just click on the name to rename it ;)

and click on the category for a drop down (or something... this one's not as obvious a solutions as just click and rename)

I personally like the click/double-click recommendation I've seen. Let's hope we can make this a reality...

Personally I'd actually go with double click instead of single.

I find it incredibly annoying to just click on a row and all of a sudden I can rename it when I just wanted to select it.

I think that adding a icon/control like the magnifying glass next to the name, and next to the category would be useful. Clicking on one of those items would load the div pop-up so we can rename or recategorize.

I have to say scrolling up and down with such a long list is painful.

A less helpful option would be to allow us to limit the # of items that show in the list control.

Thanks.

Am I missing something? I'm using Firefox and can't find either of these things.

Not available yet.

Note: We will be making a ton of changes to transactions very shortly. Be sure to check the Announcements area for product release notes.

Sorry, it was just a suggestion for the way it could work, not the way it actually works now :)

You're not missing anything! Don't worry! :D
