I have had it with all of the duplicate transactions in Mint. I keep logging in and marking half of my transactions and duplicates, but then when I return, there they are again. I could understand a duplicate every once in a while, but this thing has become impossible to use because of this issue.
Sorry, but I'm done with Mint. :(

This is so irritating that I concur, this makes me want to leave too. Not only are there TONs of dups just in a 10 day span, they are impossible to delete or mark as dup (once you do, it won't save it).
You need to fix this problem or I am gonna leave too....
Too bad, it's otherwise an awesome service.

So Len, I've been searched through the Mint Announcements. I see nothing regarding the addressing of this issue. In fact, I see nothing acknowledging this issue besides this post. Is Mint actually doing anything about this? For the past week, I've marked transactions as duplicates only to come back to the screen five minutes later and to find them unmarked. What's the deal?
I never should've left my previous aggregator for Mint.

After some experimentation, I've noticed that you can get duplicates that you've marked as duplicates to actually stick with the following method:
1. Select the specific account the duplicate transaction belongs to (don't go throught the "All Accounts")
2. Mark only 1 transaction as a Duplicate at a time
3. Return to the Overview tab and click "Update"
4. Without having to wait for update process to finish, find your next duplicate transaction and repeat.
For some reason, the Update process "resets" your ability to make duplicate transactions stay that way.
