If you want to exclude a transaction from tallying in your Mint account, please do the following:
(Note: This doesn't delete the transaction. It only removes the amount from your totals).
1. Login to your Mint account.
2. Locate the transaction you want to exclude & check the box.
3. Click on categorize.
4. Go to the "exclude from Mint" option available on the bottom of the page.
Note: If you don't want these transactions to alway be categorized this way, be sure to uncheck the "create a rule" option available at the top of the page.
