Can't add US bank

www.usbank.com

No additional questions required, just name and password. I do not have checking accounts with this bank, only credit cards. It gets to "downloading transaction data" and then stops and gives me the 'wait 24 hours' message.

Checking it out.

Note: These issues, unfortunately, may take a little time to resolve (fairly complex). I will be sure to post any updates I have in the Mint Announcement areas on issues related to specific banks.

tedassur,

I was able to add my US Bank credit cards seperate from my US checking account. When adding the accounts there was an option to have usbank or usbank credit cards and then I was able to log into both with no problem. Try doing a search on US Bank instead of selecting US Bank at the begining of adding an account....hope that helps.

thanks! This solved the login issue I had too!

I assumed "US Bank" included the cards too

doesn't fix mine... used the us bank - credit cards account name for my us bank cc, and i still get the "could not connect to account" error.

I was able to add my US Bank checking just fine, but had trouble with the credit card. I was also able to finally succeed with adding credit cards by doing a search on US Bank instead of selecting US Bank at the begining of adding an account..

I have 2 US Bank credit cards (shame!) but I can't add the accounts. I can log into the USbank website with no problem, but they do have a "CreditSheild" question and I wonder if that is causing some confusion?...

rickjohnsonjr, I've got the same problem--it looks like US Bank beefed up their online verification deal and may be making it more difficult for users who are NOW adding their account; I'm sure Mint's got a backdoor type deal with people who signed up a year or two ago so their accounts don't suddenly need this new verification scheme.

I've been going back and forth with Mint people; we've volleyed five or six emails to each other (different person every time, naturally, who keeps insisting I report that silly five point list of infos back to them).

It's pretty frustrating, as that's the one card I use. And a little moreso that the customer service hasn't seemed close to understanding what's going on despite multiple extensive explanations from me (first screen at USbank.com is just username, next page is one of four security screens, only after passing that there's an image and word verification where you enter your password). We'll see if Mint can come up with a solution, but for now I'm a little sick of doing quality assurance testing...

I was having trouble adding my US Bank credit cards because at least one of the security questions from the bank was not found on the mint.com log-in when I tried to add the account. I opened two tabs, one at Mint and one at US Bank and changed the bank security questions and simultaneously answered the questions on Mint, making sure they were in the same order. Once the new questions were established at US Bank, Mint added the account on the first try.

Hope this helps someone.

Being a new fella and seeing the last post of this problem is February, it looks like Mint still has some work to do, with US Bank.

Same problem.

I can't get my US Bank card to work. Checking is no problem.

My one US Bank screen shows checking account, credit card account and mortgage.

I'm not having any luck adding my US Bank Mortgage either. I have tried US Bank, US Bank - Loan, and US Bank Mortgage.
All attempts need "Fix it"...which doesn't.
