To truly be a top of the line budget tool you MUST have a annual budget or perhaps multiple year budget tool in place. So I can plan X amount for Y year for Vacation, furniture, or whatever. MS Money handles this nicely.

I think this has been mentioned several times in the "Top 5 things..." thread, but I agree totally, and think this is a big enough point that it deserves its own thread. We try to budget for emergency/annual health costs, but only having a monthly budget tool is not very helpful.
For example: one ER visit, or an eye exam and glasses, puts us way over the monthly budget, but I'm only concerned with how we are doing for the year.
