Hi,

I think it would be really helpful to have a manual review process built into Mint whereby users can mark each transaction as reviewed.

I've tried using the tagging feature to create a "Reviewed" tag, however, without the following, this doesn't seem to be a viable work-around:
1. ability to search for all transactions without a tag
2. an added column to the Transactions table indicating whether or not the transaction has the "Reviewed" tag.

Is a feature like this on the radar for future enhancements?

Thanks!

on the expense tranactions if you go into trends tab and with the where you spend graph yougo to the filter by tag tab and show only those transactioin not tagged. Then you can see at least those that you ahve not tagged at all. Another thing that you may decide to do is to show those transaction not tagged as reviewed. This will not handle deposits or positive credits.

Thanks for the reply. I did try the work-around that you are referring to, however, I am unable to find a way to successfully see all of the transactions that are "Not Tagged". If I only select the "Not Tagged" tag in the "Filter by Tag", the pie chart seems to update correctly, but there is no way to see the individual transactions. Double clicking on the "Not Tagged" tag doesn't do anything and clicking on the "Search All Transactions" button when the only tag selected always shows all transactions independent of what tags are selected.

Do you have any suggestions on how I can see the list of transactions? Without this, there is no real review process.

What you will need to do to see the transactions is to go to the pie chart an click on the categories until you drill down to the transactions.

The proposal you describe isn't a viable solution. The pie chart is a drill through chart and would require the user to drill through to the leaf-level node for each unique transaction description in his/her account. If one were to review their transactions every day and only had a small number to review, that could still require several iterations of navigating between the pie chart, and transactions page to find all of the transactions that are Not Tagged. I think it would be faster to click on the "Edit Details" button on each transaction for the past several days searching for ones without the "Reviewed" tag.

Without a simple way (i.e. advanced search query), there is no viable way to achieve a manual review process. A review process is extremely critical to ensure all transactions are properly categorized -- analyzing the data doesn't make much sense unless everything is categorized appropriately.

I agre it is not the best solution. I'm just saying with the current solution this is the way that I accomplish the same thing. If you review the forums you will see that I'm a advocate of the reconile checkbox on the transaction line.
