I've noticed that all the recently added transactions added these past couple days do not auto categorize, and instead show a "No Category". These are places I've used before and have manually categorized myself before, so I'm not sure why when new transactions from the same vendors/restaurants/stores don't auto categorize based on my previous designations.
Does auto categorization rely on matching the entire bank description in order to designate the category correctly, or can it match based on specific keywords within the description?
i.e. Purchase PURCHASE OFFICE DEPOT #565 08/31
This bank description should give me a category for office supplies every time a description comes up that includes office depot in it. I'm wondering if the date at the end throws it off and because this purchase date is different and doesn't recognize it as a similar transaction with past entries.
Is this happening with others??
