Is there currently a way to analyze trends (see a graph) with items classified with a particular label/tag?
If not, this would be a very useful feature to have!

We do have some featurs on the site for this (features that will be improved). Can you provide a more explicit example of what you would like to see?

Instead of being confined to the catagories why not base the searches and pie chart on Labels. This was folks can pick the higher level catagory that you have but lable it to get sorts that are specific to what they what to "catagorize" things as. For instance I want to track my childs school lunch costs. So I could take the transaction and catagorize it as Food & Dining but label it School Lunch. When I look at the pie chart it shows the section for Food & Dining but when I click on that section it displays as per my labels.

Exactly what I was thinking. I need to adjust things slightly to suit my needs, and including the labels in the charts or allowing custom categories seem to be the missing piece of the puzzle.
I want to be able to label who the money was spent on (Me, Wife, Kid1, Kid2, and/or Kid3. Labels work great for this because it can be one, a few, or all.
I switched banks so I would have an easier time organizing my finances online. I am comparing Mint, Quicken, and Wesabe. So far Mint is the best ;) I don't like Wesabe's mess and Quicken need to be able to split transactions and better label my transactions. Mint is in the lead, and I hope that they can extend the gap.

Charting labels is definitely on the horizon & something that I think will also help with the issues over custom categorization (something we're also looking at).

Using categories is way outdated and limits me. We need to be able to tag or use labels.
Example:
I get some gas at Chevron.
Back in Mint I categorize it as Gas/Fuel. That's all I can do. I've limited myself to Gas/Fuel only.
If we had tagging or lables:
I get some gas at Chevron.
Back in Mint I can add multiple tags for some good detail. This is where it gets cool....
Fuel, Chevron, Honda, Personal, Gas Station, Saturday, Beach Trip, Ect...
Tagging is awesome and soooo much better then just categorization.
