I just wanted to advise that you might be able to add WAMU cards using Providian as a login (WAMU bought them last year).

Adding Providian in our system seems to work with folks that want to use wamucards.com.

there isn't any providian option anymore, it simply lists wamu, which doesn't work with providian logins??

The form was modified to reflect WAMU. As such, you should be able to put in the username/password for providian there.

Seems to be working ok now. I think it was just the maintenance/load issues you were/are working on today.

It's not clear to me that this is really resolved.

Searching for providian brings up two options:

One points back to wamu.com, which does not help.

And the other points to mycardaccount.com,which does not look like the most reputable site on the internet:rolleyes:

Just need it to point at wamucards.com, any way to do this?

It worked with my wamu card. Searched Providian, chose Washington Mutual and entered in my accunt information. Had info a few seconds later.

....but wamu doesn't allow me to access my providian account...only by going to providian.com can I log in.

If i try to log into WAMU.com using my providian username and pass..it will not let me in.

Any ideas?

I have two accts with WaMu: one is a checking acct, the other is a credit card acct. When I set up my wamu acct, it only sees the checking acct. HALP!

EDIT: after a few refreshes it picked it up as Providian.

I have tried this many times, following every option in this thread and still cannot add my wamu credit cards.
