Hello all,
I'm new to mint.com (24 hours old!) and I'm having an issue with one of my accounts. I'm able to add my checking account without any issue, but I'm not able to add the mortgage and 2nd mortgage information from that same bank. The information is all contained within the same login at my bank's site, so I'm not sure if the issue is that mint cannot parse that information. I've tried adding the accounts a second time, after doing some research here on the forums, but that simply adding my checking account a second time.
I'd really like to get this information into my mint.com account, but I'm not having any luck with forum searches and experimenting on my own. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)
Here are screen shots of what my bank account page looks like once I login, with all personal info removed of course (showing how they lump all account information under one login), as well as a screenshot of the error I'm getting in mint when I try to add the bank as a loan account. It asks for the same setup information as when I set up my personal checking account, but it's simply not working.

yeah! I'm having that same problem too with Amegy Bank. I have two loans there, a personal and an auto loan, but I can't find out how to pull those in. "Adding a loan" and putting that info in, does in fact simply duplicate my checking and savings accounts at the bank
@Kezzran: sorry I couldn't help, but at least I'm one more joining your side...

Interesting to hear that others are having the same issue, even with different banks. Could someone from Mint.com come alongside us here and work through this issue? :)
Thank you,
Kezzran
Hi Minters,
The reasons why you are not able to add the loan accounts:
a) You are not adding it under the right option.
Users need to add their accounts separately (even if these accounts are under the same log in). Meaning add the loan accounts under the loan option. Example, add the loan account under "Associated Bank - Loan" option in Mint.
or,
b) Simply the loan option for the FI is not yet supported in Mint.com.
While Mint's provider does a solid job at capturing many account types for many financial institutions, there will be times when one or the other may not be supported from the single login. We're gathering data on this information & will attempt to get them added via our provider. Mint can't provide an ETA for this, unfortunately, and we don't know if we will be able to resolve it with your particular bank.
Here's how to spot this issue:
1. Do a search for your financial institution on our site.
2. If the search results yields (bank name) only, this means only the banking option is supported at this time (not credit card or investment accounts).
3. If the search yields multiple results, such as (bank name), (bank name-credit card), or (bank name-investments), this means that we support the banking, credit card & investment account options for this bank.
I hope this has been of help to you.

Aysa,
Thank you for the reply concerning this issue. I'd like to respond to each point you made, and see if we are on the same page.
a) You are not adding it under the right option.
As you indicate, it needs to be added as Associated Bank - Loan. I have tried this option, however it does not work. Rather, it simply pulls my checking account information in a second time.
b) Simply the loan option for the FI is not yet supported in Mint.com.
Here you indicate that a search should reveal all the options available for the bank in question. This was the process I used to find the correct option, which I believe shows it is support by Mint, it's simply that something is not working. Here is a screenshot of the search I used to find the Associated Bank - Loan option.

It appears to me that this screen indicates the Loan option should be available for Associated Bank. But, as noted, it is not working correctly, at least for me with this bank.
Again, thank you for the reply. If you could review my response and offer further suggestions or information, that would be greatly appreciated. :)
Thank you,
Kezzran

Amount deposited in the banks by depositors is a “Trust Money” of the nation and how a loan can be written off by an institution, especially in Islamic State, if not allowed in Shariat Laws, the bench observed.Loans are sanctioned by banks all over the world carefully and after securing solid guarantees to ensure return, Shariffudin Pirzada said. He gave examples of various countries and their loan laws.Khawaja Farooq, representing National Bank of Pakistan, said that loan was written off in accordance within law and according to the decision taken by the settlement committee of the State Bank of Pakistan.

I just signed up for mint today, and I am having this same problem. I have two bank accounts and a mortgage on the same log in with Associated Bank. Mint pulls the info for the checking and savings account just fine, but I can not get the mortgage to work.
I go to add a loan, search for Associated Bank, select Associated Bank - Loan. I get an error "Can't find your account!"
Trying to find a work around only ends up with a duplicate account. This service seems very useful. but without being able to add my mortgage it doesn't seem all that handy really. Hopefully this is given some attention.

Financial Aid. I was told that there's a lot of money out there in Financial aid for people that qualify. There's no shame in saying that you have financial aid, there's no need to sink in debt if you don't have to. With the way things are going in our economy, tuition is going up as well, I shall never understand why some people would rather but themselves in the red, instead of applying for financial aid.Study your options, talk to a school counselor, and inform yourself as much as you can.
