I have two suggestions for the labels/tags, nothing pressing, just something to think about.
It'd be helpful to have the option to save a tag, so you can use the same tag for future transactions by just clicking on it in the drop down menu, rather than having to type it in every time and remember things like "did I call it grocery or groceries?"
It'd also be convenient to have a "remove" option in addition to the "remove all" option, so if give it more than one tag and decide to remove one I don't have to delete them all and the go back and retype all the other ones.

Wow. I haven't really tried to use the tags but with the amount of effortlessness added to much of this app it does seem incongruous to have to type and retype and remember all of the tags one has ever used. That to delete just one tag requires retyping of the others doesn't strike me as even remotely effortlessness. An "edit tags" popup for the highlighted transaction would allow both easy additions and deletions for items with multiple tags.
I think sparklerawk underestimates the importance of correcting this.
Whether I wind up using Mint or not, out of empathy for the hardworking Minsters I'd love for the first 3rd-party reviews to be more like "Mint is a revolutionary new tool that will help its users save thousands of dollars a year while providing an automatically updated snapshot of their past and current financial situation from anywhere an internet connection is available" rather than "Mint is a promising new app, unfortunately marred by a cumbersome user experience. I'll review it again later this year after it's gone through a few revisions."

Oh no, not at all. And I'm sure Mint doesn't underestimate its importance either.
The thing is is that Mint is still in beta, and the first stages of beta at that. It's a highly anticipated product and I'm sure they won't release it to the public until it's perfect.
They still have a lot of details that they're working on (even seemingly simple aspects, like adding a bank account) and some are more crucial than others.
Right now, my ING accounts aren't updating at all, but I submitted that bug to Mint, they acknowledged it, so I know (and trust) that they're working on it. And I know that, once they hammer out all of the larger bugs that happen with any beta software, they'll get right on perfecting the labels/tags feature among all of the other little details people request. I don't expect my small request to happen overnight (especially since my ING accounts aren't even working, *wink wink Mint*), hence why I noted that it's not a pressing issue.

All good products are actually in a "beta" mode. In other words, we're going to launch features & products that will be improved with customer feedback over time.
Main thing to consider: Mint really does value your feedback. Really. No jokes. If we design something that's confusing, let us know. If you think something is stupid, let us know.

I'm just throwing my hat in on this one in agreement. I actually thought the not saving of tags was a bug, but maybe it's just not implemented yet.

Maybe the ING problem is fixed--I wasn't aware there was a problem and added an ING account yesterday. The Mint screen where you enter your login information was endless since it included all those extra security answers (you know, parent's birthdays, hometown, middle name of your second cousin's firtborn child, etc.). But it updated without a glitch. Maybe you could try deleting our account and adding it fresh?

My ING accounts updated properly, I had a couple new transactions in there this morning.
Although I had to manually update, instead of the auto updating overnight. I actually had to do that for everything.

Hmmm, ok, well I deleted the account and then added it again and now it works fine. Weird. Mint, did you guys work out the issue with ING or is this just a fluke?

ING has some very strong security procedures & it does cause issues for us (still trying to fix 100%). Some customers don't have issues, some customers do.

I agree about the labels too. It would be nice to have the abels saved and not have to retype them every time.
