Since Mint already has the logins and passwords for all the accounts it tracks, it would be great if the user could choose to be logged into their individual bank accounts with one click.
For example, I saw an alert that notified me that a credit card bill was due in a few days. My first instinct was to see if that was scheduled, but it wasn't listed in transactions (FYI-Quicken downloads all upcoming scheduled electronic bill payments from Bank of America). Since future transactions aren't downloaded in Mint, I looked for a button to click that would open up a new browser window so I could go directly to my checking account and either confirm or set up the credit card bill payment. Where is the button?
I suggest putting a button below the "Go" and "Reset" buttons on the transaction page. Whenever a transaction (or account tab) is highlighted, the button will read "Click here to login to your {account associated with the transaction} account now" so the user can lookup more information, or download an image of the check, or schedule a payment, etc.
I think this would be a very compelling feature since it would make logging in to different bank accounts so easy! Right now it is a chore to jump through all those login security hoops just to have a glance at pending transactions, or just to see an image of a cleared check. And if you try to just leave a window for each account open, you get automatically logged out while you're reviewing transactions in other accounts, so you have to log in again and again. It's maddening, and Mint could preserve my sanity just by utilizing all those passwords I typed in and adding a button.
