Mint users can't add student loan or brokerage accounts. Our site currently only supports credit cards and bank accounts.

As always, feedback is always appreciated at our contact form (http://mint.com/contact.html#contact-form). You can also leave feedback in the forums with this id:

Does this include car loans? I currently have a car loan through my credit union, and if I attempt to add it, Mint only detects the savings account. It recognizes payments made to the car loan as "Adventure Online" (wtf?)

BTW, mint looks beautiful! :)

i have the exact same situation ... auto loan through my credit union, but it's only picking up my Savings account there...

The loan accounts wouldn't pull at this time because we gather information from checking and credit card accounts specifically (other items would be considered "other" accounts). Definitely something I will report as feedback...

I realize this is the beta version and hopefully more functionality is in the works, but mint would be perfect if it supported adding other account types, like student or car loans. I could then use it as a total financial management solution.

Please add this feature (if possible)... Adding car loans, student loans and mortgages, etc. would be great!

I would really like to be able to see my IRA at etrade...unfortunately they count this as a brokerage account, even though its cash based...

Yeah, if I could add my Vanguard and Ameritrade brokerage accounts I would be a happy camper. More so I guess than I already am
:D

Any idea when this feature is going to be added? I think its a big deal breaker for a lot of people.. and it's a huge downside for me as well. Love to see this added soon.

I'll add my vote for this as well (although since I owe about $25k in student loans and have 25k in mutual funds it sorta cancels out)

I wanted to add my vote as well - school loans, car loans, mortgages, lines of credit, etc.

Same here, I would really like to see my investments at Vanguard.

I use a money market account and mutual funds at Vanguard for savings. Of course, that would mean supporting retirement accounts, and many types of investments too!

Something we're most certainly looking to see if we can support.

I also really need mortgage, brokerage, line of credit, etc. to all be added as accounts or Mint doesn't give me a full picture. Otherwise, i really like the set up and feel of Mint and want to love it but can't because of the lack of these accounts.

Another vote for this feature. ETrade brokerage accounts, auto loans, etc, are all part of our financial picture. Mint is great, but unfortunately incomplete without the ability to view these types of accounts. You guys are on to something great here, keeping up with the market needs will keep you in business. Build it, and they will come...

Definitely items we hope to be able to support!

+1 for this idea. I'm probably in a major target demographic (young digerati with some student debt and some investments), and I won't really start using Mint until it can give me a *complete* picture of my finances.

More press about how stable you guys are (in terms of investment, and technology) would make me more likely to devote my personal data to you. If you strike me as the slightest bit unstable or unable to hit the mark in terms of features, I'm keeping my data away :).

Student loans & other loan products will be supported in the coming months.

Love the service so far, but I would absolutely love support for student/car loans. Retirement plans would be nice too, but definitely shouldn't be a priority.

I am now able to add Student Loans, and it pulls the information. But I can't seem to view the transactions. Has anyone figured out how this done?

I got access group loans recognized... but I could not get the loans from the Fed gov up there. Is there any way I can just manually put the amount I owe in there?

My vote goes to adding a featured to track student loans. I have way too many student loans over my head, and I was hoping I could use this site as a tool to keep track of all my finances. Without the loans, this site is useless to me.

I have a loan that is deposited into an account accessible from www.myaccounts.chase.com. Is there a way to add these debit card accounts at all?

I have a student loan through direct loan servicing (aka dept of education) and am unable to add it. When will this be added?

Also, I have a credit card and car loan with my credit union and would like to see those as well in addition to the savings and checking accounts.

I can get my federal student loans up and running with no problem, but I seem to have problems getting authenticated with my Sallie Mae. I checked the password and questions several times.

I too am having problems with sallie mae.

it seems like you are going to salliemae.com instead of manageyourloans.com, which is the site that sallie mae uses for student loan stuff.

Also, when i bring up the screen to put in my information it asks me for like 5 or 6 security questions. Sallie mae only had me choose 2. would this make a difference?

mintfeedback

I was mistaken. you had the right amount of security questions, it had just been so long since i had filled them in that i forgot about it. however, even with all the security questions filled in correctly, it didn't work.

Well that surprises me because I was able to add my student loans with Wachovia and Wells Fargo but not my wife's student loan with Sallie Mae.
