If you would like to search for transactions, please do the following:

1. Login to your Mint account.
2. Go to the "Transactions" tab
3. Enter in the merchant name, category or label you would like to find in the search box.

What should I do if I've created a bunch of labels and don't remember the exact names. There should be a list of them somewhere, right?

There isn't a list per se. Transactions that you labeled, however, should have the label showing directly under the transaction. You can then click on the label in the transaction to bring up the transactions associated with that label.

Is there a way to search for all transactions that do not have a specific label? I have a "recon" label that I assign to all transactions that have been reconciled (i.e. receipt is accounted for) and I would like to search for all transactions that do not have that label. Does this functionality already exist, or could it be implemented in the future?

How do I search transactions based on time? Say range (date1-date2)?

Basically, this program is useless without being able to sort transactions by date. That is, to only see all the transactions from one date to another date. How do you do this?

List won't sort by Merchant, Category, or Date.
Search doesn't return any Transactions.
Clicking on 2 or Next button returns the same page (Page 1.)
Mint has to be more functional.

I have found that if I enter a search like this:

category:Home Improvement, tag:Sharpley St

then mint will return transactions that are either in the category Home Improvement OR have the label Sharpley St. Is there any way to have it return only those transactions that contain both the given category AND the tag? In other words, I want to see transactions that are categorized as Home Improvement AND labeled Sharpley St.

I have rental properties, so this would allow me to see how much I'm spending for maintenance on each property.

I just noticed that when I clicked on a category in my budget that the URL has a date range limiter built in which allows me to view those transactions only for that month. By fiddling around with the URL I was able to view any date range I wanted.

This is useful! :) When are we likely to see this implemented in a less geeky manner, i.e. just plug a date range into the search bar or with a separate date range area?

Date Range Searches are a huge need for me; graphing over date ranges would be even nicer.

Example: Grocery Spending, by week, from Jan 1 - April 1, Bar Graph.

Graphing is gravy, but date range search interface is a big pain for me.

they totally should implement a search box for date range, or something like this... but based on some comments above, I figured out that you can do it like this:

https://wwws.mint.com/transaction.event?query=&startDate=4/1/2008&endDate=6/1/2008

Just fill in your dates there, and you should get all transactions in that date range only.

That is exactly what I need. A way to search for all transactions that don't have specific text (either a label, a category, etc.)

I'm planning on majoring in accounting and questioning which graduate degree to obtain? I'm planning on majoring in accounting, or possibly double majoring in accounting and finance. My ultimate goal is to become the CFO of a corporation. Would a double major really be beneficial to my resume? Also, after my undergraduate studies, should I obtain a Masters in accounting, or an MBA? Any information will help. Thank you.

Being a C-Level executive in major corporations my suggestion would be to pick a strong functional major like finance, accounting, Engineering, Marketing etc. I would also compliment that functional degree with an MBA. The MBA will provide the business structure and process background that is really needed as you move up the management levels. I would also compliment those degrees with certifications as possible. Certifications such as: Six Sigma green/black belt, PMI, CPA, etc.. This will not only enhance you knowledge about your job but also allow you to extending your networking possibilities.
