It looks like Mint.com needs to update the security settings with the ones in the bank, because as of now it just asks me for my user name and password but not the PIN and security questions.

This is what I have found:

As I mentioned, in addition to PIN number the three security questions seem to be in a specific order, which are:

Question 1:
Possibilities:
What is your father's middle name?
What is the first name of the maid of honor at your wedding?
What is the name of the first company you worked for?
What was the name of your High School?
What is the first name of your oldest nephew?
What is your best friend's first name?
In what city were you married (Enter full name of city)?
In what city was your high school (Enter city name only)?
What is your maternal grandmother's first name?
What is your maternal grandfather's first name?

Question 2:
Possibilities:
In what city was your father born? (Name of city only)
What is the first name of the best man at your wedding?
What is your favorite word/phrase?
In what city is your vacation home? (Enter name of city only)
What was the first name of your first manager?
What was the name of your first pet?
What is your paternal grandmother's first name?
What was your high school mascot?
What was the name of your first girlfriend/boyfriend?
What was the nickname of your grandfather?

Question 3:
Possibilities:
What was your favorite restaurant in college?
In what city did your grandmother live? (Enter name of city only)
What was the model of your first car?
What is your mother's middle name?
In what city was your mother born? (Enter name of city only)
In what city were you born (Enter full name of city only)
What street did your best friend in high school live on? (Street name only)
What was the last name of your favorite teacher in high school?
What is your paternal grandfather's first name?
Where did you meet your spouse? (Enter name of city only)

As you can see, these are very specific questions and must be answered in a specific order.

Please let me know if there's anything I can do to help.

Thank you so much.

Howdy,

Most errors being returned in adding this institution is for invalid/incorrect user credentials. The reasons for this can be found below:

1. The customer is not entering in the correct username and password for their bank.

2. If security questions are present in our form, located below the username and password, your bank requires answering these when logging in from a different computer. Tips for answering these questions can be found in this link: http://forums.mint.com/showthread.php?t=2259

3. If your bank requires security questions logging in from a different computer & Mint is missing these questions on our form, please see this link: http://forums.mint.com/showthread.php?t=2702

4. Our form may be missing security questions that you answer at the bank (different choices than what we currently display). Please see this link: http://forums.mint.com/showthread.php?t=2702

5. The customer may be trying to add an account not supported yet (loans), or they are trying to add a bank account under an investment option. While confusing to many customers, all account types have to be added individually on the site (checking/savings, credit card, brokerage/investment, etc.).

If problems continue after doing some troubleshooting, please contact us feedback@mint.com with the following:
1. Email address of your account.
2. Bank Name/Account type
3. Login URL you use to access your accounts online
4. The specific error message you're receiving trying to add the account.

Important note: Please leave the account active on the Mint site, even if you receive an error message when you re-added it, because we need it active on the site to file a bug. Please re-add it back to the site and leave it there.

Thank you,
