iPhone app crashing

I've seen a lot about budgets not working, but I can't even get the app to launch. I downloaded it and it launched the first time, but now it crashes every time I start it. I can remove it and re-set it back up, however it still crashes when I try to start it.

I have tried to reinstall it as well as restart my phone. I have a 16GB 3G phone with running version 2.2. Just FYI, when it runs right after setup, there are no budgets :-)

Same here. First time is loads I can sign in and see everything (except budget). If I try to relaunch the app it crashes 100% of the time. Rebooted the iPhone and still crashes. Delete and readd the Mint app and it will work the first time and then crash 100% of the time thereafter.

Same thing. 1st time works (no budgets). Any subsequent attempts to update crash the app. Have uninstalled/installed, restarted, and even restored my iPhone (not just for this problem).

Glad the symptons are matching up exactly with other users. Would be nice to at least get word from Mint that they are hearing us.

Me too, it's a great looking app and I can't wait to have a reliable version. It crashes for me within a few seconds after loading...

After reading a post on page 5 of the main iPhone app thread I saw this from MeekB2G. I removed mint from my phone and reinstalled it, and if I sign out before closing the app, it works fine. It does however remove all data and it re-alerts me for the same stuff every time. It is also kinda annoying to log in and out every time.

I am having the same issue. It seems to happen to me when I use EDGE to connect. If I only use wifi, it works well. I will, however, test this more. Can anyone confirm this?

ok i thought i was the only one. it seems to crash whenever it tries to connect with the server because the last time opened it and it didn't crash i noticed it said that it wasn't connected.

so then when i tried to connect it, it would crash. then every time after that it would crash. :(

Yes, every time I run the app, I can see my stuff for a couple seconds.. and then.. crash.

I left an email and someone answered me back telling me to upgrade my iphone...

I told them I am already 2.2 and that was the end of that thread.. I havent heard from them since...

Yeah, my Mint app is crashing too. First initial login is fine, but then after that, it keeps crashing. You can delete and re-add it, but it's getting ridiculous. Hopefully they can fix this soon.

Fw 2.2 iphone 3g 16g

Program crashes upon launch, I'm figuring this is happening to everyone with updated fw 2.2, no post display error on 2.1 fw or older.

this is a quick fix for mint.com, not sure what their doing..

same here. fw 2.2, 3g, 16gig. first time i logged in and looked thru the entire app fine. now every time i start it up it crashes. i signed up for mint because of this app. what's going on?

16 gb iPhone 3g, version 2.2 firmware (jailbroken)

Started crashing everytime it starts.
Rebooted phone, still crashing.
Uninstalled app, rebooted.
Reinstalled app, rebooted.
Still crashing.

Would be a nice little app if it stayed up for more than a second.

As mentioned in other threads, we have identified the problem. However, it may be a few days before iTunes will roll out our fix. Please be patient and thanks for using Mint!

It was working fine for me only a couple weeks ago, then the crashing started happening and I haven't been able to use it since. Looking forward to getting this update, just be sure to keep checking back in iTunes.

Thanks for the quick turn around Mint.com devs. I was out on vacation and just got back, but the latest update fixed my crashing. It also fixed the budget issue. Awesome app!

I'm having crash issues while using wifi, and edge.

the app kept crashing for me as well. while troubleshooting another problem (my iPhone was not remembering wifi passwords)i deleted the keychain-2.db file in the var/Keychain folder. once I did that, the Mint app worked.
