I read a lot of the posts regarding Sallie Mae Student Loans. Some of the posts were in 2007 and some of the posts said that they were able to add the Sallie Mae student loan- some said that they could not add it.
I have tried the various tips in different posts. I get 2 different error messages.
"wrong user name and password"
"the bank needs to verify some information."
I have no problems logging into Sallie Mae directly. I called Sallie Mae's customer support just like the error message said, and they had no idea what I was talking about.
I'm confused. As of today November 11 2008,does Mint support student loan accounts?

Yes it does - I added mine successfully a week or so ago. The issue might be the security questions. Did you enter in all 5? Sallie Mae doesn't ask you the security questions every time you log in (I think it has to do with whether the pc you're on is seen as being registered to the account). Since I couldn't remember mine I just logged into Sallie Mae, reset them all then entered them into Mint when I added the account. I even went so far as to enter them in the same order but I don't know if that's required.
