Account problem (Fairwinds Credit Union)

I've attempted to log in four times via Mint. I wasn't sure what the "Answer 2" was. For me to log in only requires the first two parts, User and Password. I put in my password recovery answer but that doesn't seem to be working either.

Are you having issues logging in to Mint, or are you having an issue trying to add a financial institution? It wasn't entirely clear from the post.

I'm having a similar issue to the Fairwinds problem, Mint will not login to my UMB account (I am unable to add it at all - Mint comes back saying "Wrong Username Or Password" but I have verified with absolute certainty that is not the case). Several months ago they beefed up their security so that now instead of just entering a user name and password the site stores a cookie on the machine you're on and it assumes that you won't login from more than two machines total on a regular basis. If you do, it will go through a series of questions asking you two personal questions that you have provided an answer to in the past and you have to check a box if you want it to not ask these questions every time. You also pick a personal picture that must show up every time for visual verification to combat phishing sites and emails.
Unfortunately for me I use three separate machines to connect and every time I'm on the third one that I haven't used it last or previous to last I have to go through this security validation. Wiping cookies on the browser has the same effect. Mint may be able to ask for these security validation answers in order to enter them automatically and get around that, and maybe display the personal image as well on the Mint account page or something.
I can log into my account through the UMB site not problem, so I know it's not my account. I am guessing it has something to do with these somewhat new security procedures. Nothing wrong with having these security features; they're reassuring, but it's keeping me from being able to use the new site.
I am really looking forward to using Mint in the near future so hopefully these problems with UMB will be resolved soon.

What does UMB stand for? I want to make sure that I am filing a right company name (United Merchants Bank?).

I also can't add my Fairwinds account. After a few times of trying it will "succeed" and say it last updated 4 hours ago but it does not get any data. If I hit the "update now" button it will try again and fail. I tested the credentials I used by logging in at www.fairwinds.org and they work just fine so its not that my account has been disabled or anything.

Please keep us posted on the progress of this issue.

I've noticed that when I add Fairwinds via the search that it comes up... Fairwinds Credit Union - Credit Card... I'm not sure if that makes a difference or not. Has anyone been able to login to their Fairwinds Credit Union Account?

I'd just like to point out, to anyone reading this that it does actually seem to work now. I was able to add my Fairwinds Checking and Savings as well as Loan. What you need to do is select Fairwinds CU as the account. Enter the info you login with, and try to remember the 3 security questions you used. Mint is going to have to use those security questions to login to Fairwinds I guess, and if they are wrong it may fail.

For adding a loan just use Fairwinds Credit Union - Loan as the account type.

I am having an issue adding a loan type. I can add a regular account type, but not the loan.
