Howdy folks,

I'm really excited to be here in the early stages of testing for Mint. I immediately began adding my financial accounts and was pleased to see it know all of my institutions (including my credit union.)

However there is an issue with how it reads my Citi Bank account. I have a checking plus account which basically has a line of credit to protect me from overdrafting. Once the next check clears it will be paid off and back in the plus, however currently being that I'm in the red with them your system simply displays my balance with them as $0.

Sadly enough this is something their own system does, so you may not be able to overcome it. In my account view on their site they show me two accounts, a normal checking, and a checking plus. So you guys may need to incorporate this into your system somehow.

Cheers! And here's to the success of a fantastic system!

Hmmm...interesting. If you haven't sent an email to feedback@mint.com, please do so so I can:

file a bug
have your email address so I can notify you if it is resolved

I'm having the same issue.

Also, not all of my transactions seem to have been brought over from my Citibank account. For example, it only shows one check I've written in the past month, even though there should be more; and none of my rent payments are showing up (kind of a big deal!), even though other automatic payments are.

Just a couple notes on Citibank.

"Checking Plus" is a "line of credit" account, so it is actually a seperate account. As a feature, funds automatically transfer from "Checking Plus" to "Checking", if "Checking" goes below 0.

A "line of credit" is actually considered a type of flexible "loan". Which may cause some trouble for if Mint is looking for "checking" accounts.

Several of Citi's "Savings" acounts are technically "Money Market" accounts. Which means Citi may classify them with "investment" accounts. For instance, I have two "money market" accounts one of the accounts has 0, the other has X. But, Mint reports them both having X.

Also, as of right now, Mint can't seem to retreive my "credit card" or "loan" data.

How long do we have to wait for a fix? I'm really beginning to wonder if this is going to be a usable product. As Damon requested, almost a week ago, I sent a bug email regarding the inability to get my info from my Citi Checking Plus account. Other than an email reply thanking me for my alert, I have heard of no progress either here or via email. Is this going to take weeks to fix like the "Legalese" issue did? Or a year or more, like the issues with skimpy categories?

Also, I am concerned that Damon seemed surprised about this. Banks offering overdraft line of credit accounts does not seem particularly novel to me. Mint should have anticipated this.

I believe that Mint has a lot of potential, but if they cannot think issues through better than they seem to be able to and cannot correct problems in a more professional and expeditious manner, it may not ever be a viable solution for me or a lot of other potential customers.:(

I was able to login and get some detail into mint. however after the first day, every time I login now it says that it is having trouble and to try back later. 3 days later...same message.

I am having the same issue except for me it worked for two days, not just the first day. Since then I can not connect to my Citibank accounts, and it is not even acknowledging my Checking Plus, and Mint won't import a file so at this point Mint is pretty useless to me.

I am getting this message,

"Your bank needs you to update some information.

Please visit Citibank Bank and resolve the issue."

I able to log into my Citibank site and all. I don't know what information it wants me to update.
