I'm loving Mint so far. I know it's still in beta, but that can mean it will only get better once all the little bugs and user suggestions are worked out.

I got an issue... I just transfered my 401k to a traditional IRA at my bank. I eagerly added it to my Mint account... however, it is listed as "Bank" account rather than a "Investment" account. So in my Overview, I have it under my Cash accounts rather than my Investment accounts. Needless to say, I'd rather have my IRA listed as an investment than as a cash account.

Any way to change this?

This is tangentially related, but maybe not entirely.

I have an online, long-term savings account that I certainly don't treat as cash. A small amount (wish it was more) of every month's salary goes into this account and doesn't come out again until I break my leg or finally give it all up and move to the Bahamas to die.

I wish I could treat this account as an investment account instead of cash.

I have the exact same problem, this seems to happen to many users. When will you fix this mint??

I have a similar problem. In my cash account I have a IRA listed that I hold with a bank. In my investment accounts I have a money market account that I use as a cash account.

I believe that the user should have the ability to override the account designation rather then having Mint assign the designation.
