Long Password Problems

Currently, my password is quite long. (> 16 characters). The system supports this. Unfortunately, the main page recently changed such that there is now a 16 character limit on the input box. Once I fail that password, it takes me a to a screen with a longer limit, where my longer password is accepted. Given that you've allowed folks like me to create longer passwords, we should be able to use them!
