Please do the following to cancel a SMS (mobile) alert:

1. Login to your Mint account.
2. Click on the “change your alerts” link on the “Summary” page.
3. The alerts’ overview page will give you a summary of the different alert types you can receive via SMS or email.
4. Uncheck the alert(s) you would like to not receive via SMS.
5. Press “Save”.

As an extension to the previous question:

How do you stop getting summaries on your mobile? It's not the same as stopping the alerts as far as I can see.

yes, but when i go to Emails & Alerts, the option to UNCHECK SMS is grayed out but it's still checked!

I have the same issue. When I try to deselect the SMS option for a given alert, I can't. The checkbox is selected, greyed out, and can't be changed.

The way to re-enable the checkbox settings is to text STOP from your phone in reply to the message you received when you first set up SMS alerts. Once you do that, when you login again to mint.com and go to alerts settings, the SMS checkboxes are no longer greyed out.
