I noticed some differences in the percentage change tab in Mint compared to a similar feature on Yahoo. I use yahoo to get a near immediate view of my 401k status (since Vanguard does not update my account til the next day, but yahoo has the data at 6pm). Comparing the numbers between Yahoo and Mint there were slight, albeit noticeable changes.
I think (in my very unscientific opinion) that Mint calculates the %change on strictly the price differential for date X to date Y. This doesnt take into account though the fact that you might have bought Z shares of ABC stock at a lower price and even though it maybe down for the month, you still have made money on it. That might be included in the next version with all the changes to transactions and the way they are handled, but I thought I would point it out. Thanks for the great work!
