Schools First Credit Union (formerly OCTFCU) is listed under Checking/Savings but I also have a VISA credit card through them. When I add them the credit card account does not list in my accounts...only the Checking/Savings info does.

Can you add them as a Credit Card as well?

I would like to second this as well. I, too, have a VISA through them! :)

I'll go ahead and third that opinion...I also have an OCTFCU VISA that I would love to have added to MINT's account listing.

I'm not with this credit union, but I AM with Spokane Teacher's Credit Union, where I have both a Checking/Savings account AND a VISA credit card, and I'm having the same problem....

We also have a VISA card through Schools First, and it really throws off our numbers not to have this card accessible through Mint, especially since the bulk of our CC debt is on this card.

I also have a School's First (OCTFCU) Visa card and would like to use Mint but without the credit card its pointless for me because a lot of our expenses are put on the credit card and then payed off every month. Kind of like a buffer. Without the Visa Card on Mint I might have to just use quicken online which is a shame because I really like the way mint looks! I think mint will show up better on my iphone too.

Please take a look at why OCTFCU visa won't show up in my account.

Thanks! :)

I sent an email through SchoolsFirst.org to the web team inquiring about this issue. I asked if they were only exposing savings and checking accounts through their web services. The next day I received a reply from the Manager of Internet Services (I love this institution, they are on the ball). Here's the message:

Mr. Cronkhite,

Thank you for your recent e-mail. We don't currently block any access from third party sites such as Mint. When Mint started they were only importing savings, checking and investment information because it was talked about as more of a savings site. They then began adding some support for loans as well. I honestly don't know why they aren't able to bring in your auto loan as you mentioned. I suspect it may be harder for them to bring in the credit card information because the format is a little different.

I would suspect that they will be adding support for these loan types in the future. Typically, they need to customize their "screen scraping" application to know how to grab the data and bring it into their site for you to view. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns that I can assist you with.

Sincerely,

Scott Brownrigg

So perhaps Mint can have a closer look at this, or contact Scott Brownrigg at the number listed above for some quick setup info for their developers?

I really need all accounts from SchoolsFirst, including loans and credit cards for Mint.com to be useful.

I also have an OCTFCU VISA and a Car loan that are not showing up as well. If Mint can figure out a way to get that information from OCTFCU directly using your contact above, that would be great.

On a side note: how many are dissapointed of the name change from OCTFCU to Schools First FCU? Schools First sounds so lame.

I agree 100% my friend.

I'm hoping a Mint administrator will reply soon. Unless I can add my VISA, car loan, and mortgage I have with OCTFCU then Mint is not as helpful to me. (Notice the OCTFCU reference- I refuse to repeat the other name)!

I am also having this problem and I'm afraid that I will have to use a different application if there isn't a solution implemented soon :(

I have two loans (home equity & credit) through SchoolsFirst and it makes it really difficult to get a complete picture of our finances without these in Mint.

Same problem. Credit card and auto loan. E-mailed mint, haven't heard back yet.

I have a personal loan through Schools First FCU, but it does not pull along with the other accounts. Will this be fixed soon?

I'll throw in my 2 cents here. That's the only credit card I use so it would be great to get support added.

Maybe that's what we need to do. Start a donation fund to get it supported.

I also have a VISA card with SchoolsFirst and this is the last card that I need to add! Mint is awesome but this is the last major card I need to give me my whole financial picture.

I'm praying that someone at Mint can work this out soon, the service rocks!

I am having the same problem with Michigan State University FCU.

I would love to have this resolved because otherwise Mint is probably not going to work for me.

I would also like to see Schools First / OCTFCU credit cards added. I signed up for their VISA specifically because I thought Mint would be able to grab the info. I was rather disappointed to find they did not.

Still wondering if Mint has done anything to let us OCTFCU members use our credit cards on Mint. It would really make Mint a useful resource for me to track my finances.

I'm pretty sure that this is something that mint.com needs to fix and not School's First FCU (aka OCTFCU). If you try out the free Quicken.com online competitor, they handle all the OCTFCU accounts just fine. I want my HELOC to show up on MINT.COM, but need them to fix this.

Has anyone heard of any updates to this issue????

I'm having the same issue linking my auto loan with my checking account. Anybody have any updates?

The first post on this topic was made back in early 2008. To date, there have been zero replies by a Mint.com moderator.

That is not good

I reported this directly to Mint and received an automated reply.

Quicken.com supports schoolsfirst. While I would rather use Mint, they have forced me to use their competitor.

Quicken Online is owned by Intuit. Intuit bought Mint.com earlier this year. Within 6-9 months Quicken Online will transfer all users data to Mint.com. By logic, mint.com would have to support all the same institutions and credit cards that Quicken online does/did in order to take all that data. So hopefully we'll see OCTFCU/Schools First soon.

Another vote for Schools First Federal Credit Union.

Yep, still waiting! I'm a first-time credit card owner, and I'd really like to be able to keep track of it along with the rest of my finances from one website!
