I am thoroughly impressed with Mint so far but my Credit Union is not supported. I have sent a request for it to be added but have not received a response. On average how long does this take?

Yes, what is the typical amount of time before a bank is added?

I signed up for Mint on 8/1 and haven't heard anything about my credit union. How long have others been waiting to hear back? I am curious about whether or not my wait time matches up with others.
I really like mint so far. The credit card set up and organization is wonderful and I'm really looking forward to consolidating all of my financials here, but if I can't get my bank info on Mint, this is a waste of time for me.
Does anyone know if you can manually enter your bank transactions?

Katie,
It looks like we don't support it yet, but we're working on it. Thanks for your patience.

Another request for Philadelphia Federal Credit Union. I was all excited to use mint but now I see my credit union is not supported. Disappointing.

My credit union requires you input a random code every time you want to log in. Though I requested it, I doubt mint can make that happen. :(

While we're on the subject, I've been waiting on Unitus comunity credit union (uonline.unitusccu.com) since mid July. I did get a response, but just to the effect that it will take a while. (ref:00D78SqK.50076K6j4:ref)

Another request for PFCU.Total waste since that is my personal and business checking account.

I 2nd the request for more info re: Unitus CCU. I have ALL of my checking/savings/loan activity through this one institution. I only am able to use Mint for my 401k, and it would be much more useful to me if I was able to add Unitus activity to Mint.
It sounds like Unitus has been in 'pending' status since July '08. Is there something we can do as members of Unitus to petition the CU to reach out to services like Mint?
Thanks!

The request in this thread was made in early August. I have also put in a request and it's already January. I also made a request on Yodlee since I understand that is the platform Mint.com uses.
If Mint.com was serious in it's intentions, it wouldnt take them almost half a year to get the biggest credit union in the state of Wisconsin supported.

I emailed the support site at Unitus CCU to ask them what online banking support they currently offer. They indicated the only export ability they are willing to support is the OFX standard format. Is this something that Mint is able to use?

I second that. I completely believe that mint should be able to upload QFX and QIF file (quicken files) to an account. But, I don't think that is an option right now.

I'm glad to hear there's another unitus member out there!
Regarding Petitioning Unitus to reach out to mint:
The hang up here is not Unitus, but Mint's interface subcontractor. There is currently nothing unitus can do, as I don't believe Mint has started work on creating an interface to them. July 2008 was just the date that I requested Unitus.
As an aside, how did you check the status of Unitus?

I just emailed their customer service address with the question of what can be done from their end to make Unitus more 'interface-friendly' with 3rd party institutions accessing our accounts on our behalf such as Mint.

There have been a few posts about PFCU. Why isn't it supported? I love Mint but I'm not getting a true picture of my spending if my checking account isn't supported! Please support!!!

Another new user in support of Philadelphia Federal Credit Union. I've got all my other accounts linked up and my checking/savings is the last piece of the puzzle. Hopefully you can work something out with PFCU.

I also would like more information on Unitus. I've sent them a few e-mails and they send back the same form letter each time. Ive been checking mint for months to see if they have been added.

From looking at this thread it seems that the wait is at least 9 months. Does anyone know if it has ever happened more quickly than this for a credit union?
Could it be that the person who started this thread had their account added and never updated the thread?
PS: I would love to see "bay federal credit union" work,
Arthur

I would love to see some numbers like
"we added X credit unions with an average wait time of Y months"

Hi Minters,
If you found your bank not supported on Mint.com you may request that we add it just click the link "tell us about it" then input the Bank Name, Bank Website's URL, Bank's Login URL and Country, then check the necessary boxes on what accounts you want us to support. We'll email you back when it is already supported.
As we have to work with our provider to add financial institutions to the system, we did want to advise that it may take time to get your financial institution or product added to the Mint site (we can't provide an ETA on the addition of any bank).
Important note: Factors that come into play with our providers and adding banks: Size of Bank Assets held by Bank Login security requirements Please do keep an eye on our forums at forums.mint.com for any updates and announcements.

What's the point of putting that message up again? We've all seen it. If you can't or won't or haven't been able to manage it in 9 months, why bother, just say it's not supported, and give a reason. The same reason, now 9 months old of 'it takes time', isn't useful to anyone.

I'm tired myself of not getting an answer close to a year now. I wish Mint would shoot straight and tell us, NO to everything! That would be better then to be dragged along for months on end!

Mint's stock answer to EVERYTHING is "we're working on it and we'll e-mail you as soon as it's available..." What a bunch of crap. I've been waiting for my credit union to be supported for about 3 YEARS now. I think we'd all be happy if they just let us download a file from our institutions, but go ahead and check out those threads! Here, let me save you some time... "We're working on it and we'll e-mail you as soon as it's available..." Remember, Mint is in cahoots with the largest financial institutions and I'm sure they "discourage" servicing the needs of those of us who abandoned them and their outrageous fees long ago. Ever wonder why the longest list of unfulfilled financial institution requests consists mainly of credit unions?
