Hi! I'm not sure if this is the right place for this or not, but I am having a problem with loading my Sallie Mae and Citibank student loan accounts. They both never get past the authentication phase, though I can log in to both websites directly.
Any ideas to fix this?
Thank you!

I am having the same problem with CitiBank Studentloan.com. I changed all of my answers to ensure they matched what was listed on the account. My Student Loan People account works beautifully. Thanks for the support! Hopefully Citi student loan accounts will work soon.

I am having the same problem with my citibank student loans account. I also changed all my security questions so that I knew they would match.
Hopefully it works soon...

Generally speaking, a large push like we did last night might cause some issues. I would simply try to add the accounts again over the next few days.

Is anyone having success adding Citi Studentloan.com accounts? I've been trying to no avail.

I can't get Sallie Mae to work. I double checked my login and questions, and they work fine on SallieMae's site (manageyourloans.com) but not on mine.

OK, as for Citibank.
If you try and login on their main site www.studentloan.com it will fail... but it redirects you to a new login page automatically, and when you use *that* page it works! I think Citibank purposely changed their page to break Mint...
Broken login: https://www.studentloan.com
Working login: https://studentloan.citibank.com/mbslcsite?op=myloans&context=stmt
No wonder Mint says it failed to authenticate.

Sallie Mae still won't work for me.
Any hints?

My Sallie Mae account finally started working this morning. I didn't change anything, I just reinput my information for the 8th time.
I did notice that my loan liability doesn't show up in my cash/debt ratio.

was your sallie mae for student loans or something else?

Is anyone having any luck with student loans from Sallie Mae? My account authenticated properly but hangs on "Downloading Transactions"

OK it seems Citibank wanted to change passwords on me and locked me out of my account, how nice.
I got the password fixed and now I added it in Mint. No problem.

Could an administrator comment about the status of Sallie Mae student loan accounts? I have entered my data in correctly multiple times and it keeps hanging on the "Downloading Transactions" phase of adding the account. It authenticates properly but eventually says "Sorry, this took too long" or something along those lines. Is Sallie Mae for student loans supported?

so mint thinks that citibanks student loan site is waiting for more information. citibank doesn't seem to be looking for any answers when I login.
anybody that's got this to work been through this?

i get the same problem with studentloan.com. seeing as my student loans are my biggest debt, mint.com is rather useless to me if it is unable to access my account there.

studentloan.com will not register. I've been sure to update all security questions to match; however, it still says I need "additional information."
Mint, what's the status?

CitiBank hasn't worked since loan support was announced. Any update from Mint as to when we might expect a resolution? It seems that the script just needs to be pointed to the updated page seeing as logins direct from studentloan.com still don't work either.

I have a student loan with Sallie Mae. I'm able to access it directly by going to www.salliemae.com. Mint uses the same URL, but when I try to access via Mint, it never is able to authenticate me. My security question answers are identical to those that I would use logging into the site directly.

We are working hard on the sallie mae issue. Today about 25% of the attempts to add an account are successful. I don't have an eta on the fix just yet, but I will continue to post to this thread as progress is made.
Thanks for your patience.

I'm having this same problem. I contacted Citi and received a canned message. Of course.
Has anyone figured out how to get around this yet? Could the mint login procedure take this into account perhaps?

I can confirm that the Sallie Mae issue is not a user issue. I'm able to log in directly. I looked at all my challenge questions and made sure everything was consistent logging in directly and with Mint.
Hopefully Aaron finds the solution soon.

Aaron--Any chance you have an update on the Citi studentloan.com issues?

Is there any chance we could get an updated on studentloan.com from Mint? It's been listed for over a month now, but as far as I can tell no one has yet to have it actually work...Mine certainly still isn't.

The questions and answers you put down, must be same as what you indicated when you originally opened up the account. I tried resetting the questions on sallie mae, but it just didn't work. Then, I resetted the questions to the same questions and answers I know I had when I signed up (and i don't think it was in the same order though). Then I went back on mint and put in those questions/answers in the same order I used when resetting it and it worked.
good luck.

Also Make Sure To Sign Out Of Sallie Mae, Before You Attempt Login Via Mint. Also Use Internet Explorer.

I also can't add my Sallie Mae account. I know I have all the login info and security questions correct. (I went and updated all my security questions to make sure.
I like Mint so far, but if I can't add certain accounts and can't view my total net work, it's pretty pointless.

Yes indeed, I am yet another person having trouble with citibank student loans.
I have a theory that the site adress is wrong, on mint it says studentloans.citibank.com, but when I try to navigate there, I get an error message OR I get redirected to just plain studentloans.com
Maybe if they update this address it will resume working? I have emailed tech support this theory, hopefully they will get it working for all of us again soon.

I haven't been able to update my citibank checking accounts for weeks, sounds like a related problem. Mint says there is a bug and they are working on it.

How did you get your sallie mae account to work with mint? I've tried changing all my answers to the questions and made sure I answered them in the same order but it didn't work. I can log on to salliemae.com with the same info without a problem. Any suggestions?

Apparently Mint and Sallie Mae have had this issue for several months now. If it's going to be hit-or-miss, I don't think I have much use for Mint either seeing as how student loans are my biggest debt. :(

Agreed -- kind of hard to keep track of my personal finances without having the student loan info there. It's a shame too, since I like Mint's format and features so well.

OK so I have been struggling with getting my sallie mae account working for a while now. It worked a few months ago but was not working until today. Here are my findings:
As has been mentioned I believe you must have all of your challenge questions in Mint correctly which can be a pain. They may even need to be in the same order in mint as on Sallie Mae.
Now, here is the catch:
You must accept the offer for Upromise. Even if you say 'no thanks' and submit it will prompt you the next time you (or mint) tries to login. I believe it is this blockage that prevents mint from accessing your account and giving a 'your bank has updated there legalese' error. Luckily enough submitting an accept there does not actually enroll you in Upromise it simply adds a small area to your account summary with a link to activate your account (which you don't have to do).
After you do this you should log out and log back in to sallie mae and make sure that after you put in your username/password you are routed directly to your account summary page.
I know this is a HACK but it worked for me this morning.

After numerous attempts, I finally got my SallieMae login to work. I simply changed all of my challenge questions on SallieMae's website, and seconds later entered them into Mint.com; I didn't even pay attention to the order of the questions. I don't know if I just got lucky, or if it was the really short time lapse between changing the questions on SallieMae and then entering them on Mint, but it's something that you might want to try.

We are currently working on a solution for improving the connection with Sallie Mae. Some users are able to get their accounts added to mint, they often fail with a few days thereafter. The solution that we are working on will make keeping Mints connection to Sallie Mae much more consistent.
Thanks for using Mint and thanks for your patience around Sallie Mae. We hope to have this solved soon.

Hi, is there any news on citibank credit cards working again?
No security questions show up when the account is added, or re-added since it was working last year.
Thanks.
